The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism proactively deploys measures to respond to storm No. 12 and floods.

Implementing the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 200/CD-TTg dated October 20, 2025 on proactively implementing measures to respond to storm No. 12, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has sent a document to the Directors of the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Departments of Culture and Sports, Departments of Tourism of the provinces and cities of Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak and Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry to urgently implement response plans appropriate to the actual situation.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests Directors of Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Departments of Culture and Sports, Departments of Tourism in the above-mentioned provinces and cities to closely follow the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister, focus on leading, directing, preparing and implementing plans to respond to storms, floods, landslides promptly and effectively with the most urgent and drastic spirit.

At the same time, regularly monitor and update news on the situation and developments of storms from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, organize information, propaganda, and timely notification to ships, vehicles operating at sea, people, and tourists to proactively respond promptly, early, and from afar, including increasing dissemination and guidance on measures and skills to respond to floods, landslides, and flash floods for people.

The Ministry also requested the Departments to proactively coordinate with functional agencies and local authorities to effectively organize response work to storm No. 12, especially in supporting people, calling and guiding ships and vehicles at sea to safe anchorage to ensure safety of life, limit damage to people's property, and avoid being passive and surprised.

For agencies and units under the Ministry, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requests that, based on the situation and developments of the storm, they organize and deploy response measures to ensure the safety of people, property and works managed by the unit. Along with that, within the scope of assigned functions and tasks, proactively coordinate with functional agencies, local authorities and relevant agencies and units to organize and deploy timely and effective response to storms, floods and landslides./.
