Training on management and operation of cultural houses, cultural and sports institutions in ethnic minority and mountainous areas by 2025

On the morning of October 22, in Lao Cai ward, the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lao Cai province to organize a training course on management and operation of cultural houses, cultural and sports institutions in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 2025.

The activity is within the framework of Project 6 - "Preserving and promoting fine traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development", under the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2030.

Mr. Nghiem Ha Hai - Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library delivered the opening speech of the training course.

The training course was attended by more than 100 trainees who are cultural officers in villages and communes in the province. During the 2 days, trainees were exposed to key topics, including: Preserving and promoting intangible cultural values; Applying information technology in organizing cultural activities at the grassroots level; Skills in organizing mass cultural activities, festival decoration, visual propaganda; Improving the effectiveness of cultural and sports institutions at the commune and village levels.

Through the training, trainees are supplemented with theoretical knowledge and practical skills, improving their management capacity and effectively operating the grassroots cultural institution system.
