An Giang trains capacity for officials doing communication work

The School of Training and Fostering of Science and Technology Cadres, the Academy of Science and Technology Strategy, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports of An Giang province, organized the opening ceremony of a capacity building course for cadres working in communications in An Giang in 2025.

Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Le Thi Pha Ca, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of An Giang province; Mr. Le Ngoc Bao, Vice Principal of the School of Training and Fostering of Science and Technology Cadres ; Dr. Nguyen Hoang Nhat, Deputy Head of Department, Deputy Head of the People's Electronic Department, Nhan Dan Newspaper.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Ngoc Bao, Vice Principal of the School of Training and Fostering of Science and Technology Cadres , said that the course, held from October 21 to 25, aims to equip leaders, reporters, editors of press agencies and officials of press management agencies and State management agencies of the press with basic knowledge on vision, strategy, and innovative thinking .

Provide basic knowledge about the role, characteristics, functions and tasks of journalism, thereby building principles, methods and innovative styles in leadership, management and professional activities of reporters, editors, and State management officials in journalism, information and communication.

Students attend a capacity building course for communications staff.

The curriculum includes 5 teaching topics, 1 field trip at Hon Me Broadcasting Center and 1 final exam, including: Some basic issues on information and propaganda work; developing innovative thinking in leadership, management and press activities; managing and operating press activities in a digital technology environment; communication skills, problem solving in leadership, management and press activities; building a press culture in the context of the 4.0 revolution.

At the end of the course, students will be awarded a certificate of completion of the training course to improve capacity for information and communication officers in 2025 by the School of Science and Technology Training and Development.
