The strong development of digital technology and AI creates favorable conditions for students to choose the content and study programs that suit their abilities, interests, and needs to develop themselves, promoting a culture of lifelong learning in the digital age. Ho Kim Tien - a student of class 11A4, Nguyen Hung Son High School, Rach Gia ward said: "I realize that I need to build self-study capacity, practice skills in applying information technology in the digital age to update new knowledge, develop myself, and improve career opportunities in the future. Applying information technology helps me a lot in studying and life".
Nowadays, if we do not want to fall behind, everyone must proactively approach digital technology. As human knowledge is increasingly developing, it is necessary to proactively practice digital skills and exploit rich open educational resources on technology platforms, such as: Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, AI, helping us to enrich our own knowledge and culture.
The Internet allows people to access learning resources, e-books, online lectures and information related to almost any topic. Many mobile applications are developed to support active learning. For example, learners can use foreign language learning applications, time management, note taking and many other applications to improve learning performance. Searching, looking up, updating information and learning materials becomes fast, saving time thanks to the application of information technology. The emergence of online learning digital platforms helps learners to sit at home to study or anywhere suitable through network-connected devices anytime, anywhere, expanding learning space.
Technology not only changes the way students access knowledge, narrowing geographical gaps, but also helps them save time, focus on necessary subjects instead of participating in mass extra classes. "Using digital platforms and learning applications helps my child be more proactive in studying, know how to make clear plans, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hieu, a resident of Rach Gia ward.
In recent times, the province has increased investment in digital infrastructure at the grassroots level, developed digital technology, digital data, digital services, and provided high-speed fiber optic internet transmission services to serve the learning and living needs of students and people, contributing to improving the quality of life. Digital technology and AI help personalize learning, optimize self-study efficiency, and maximize the potential of each student.
