Awarding prizes to 28 solutions and initiatives to improve nursing quality

On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Nursing Association (October 26, 1990 - October 26, 2025), on the morning of October 22, the Ha Tinh Department of Health held a conference to improve the quality of nursing work in 2025.

Mr. Le Chanh Thanh, Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Department of Health delivered the opening speech at the conference.

The 2025 Nursing Quality Improvement Conference has the theme: "Practicing quality and safe care in the digital transformation period", focusing on practical scientific reports, reflecting the important role of nursing in wound and ulcer care, infection control and the application of electronic monitoring care forms...

Regarding the Competition for Solutions to Improve the Quality of Nursing and Infection Control, 2025 is the third year that the Ha Tinh Department of Health has organized it. The competition aims to encourage creativity, promote initiatives in care, infection control and improve the quality of health services. After 4 months of implementation, the Organizing Committee has received 64 reports on solutions, initiatives and posters from 17 units in the industry. Among them, there are many initiatives and solutions with high applicability, demonstrating the dedication, intelligence and sense of responsibility of the nursing, midwifery and medical technicians team.

MSc. Hoang Viet Ha (Ha Tinh Provincial General Hospital) reported "Solutions to reduce the rate of patients infected with multi-resistant bacteria at the Intensive Care Department of Ha Tinh Provincial General Hospital".

Recognizing the efforts of grassroots staff, on October 19, 2025, the Director of the Department of Health issued a decision to recognize 63 solutions and initiatives that have been effectively applied and have a scope of influence at the grassroots level in 2025 in the field of nursing, patient care and infection control, of which 28 solutions and initiatives won awards.

With the theme "Ha Tinh Nursing is proud of its tradition, provides professional care, and spreads professional cultural values", in the coming time, the Provincial Nursing Association will actively build a beautiful image of the profession in the hearts of the people.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Nursing Association also awarded certificates of merit to 4 individuals; the Ha Tinh Union of Science and Technology Associations awarded certificates of merit to 15 individuals, and the Provincial Nursing Association awarded certificates of merit to 33 members with outstanding achievements.
