Cancer screening using AI technology for women in border areas

(DN) - On October 18, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20) and in response to the Month of Action for Vietnamese Women, at the Bu Dop Regional Medical Center, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, the Department of Health coordinated with NTD AI Healthcare Technology Joint Stock Company and Binh Tay Food Joint Stock Company (Ho Chi Minh City) to organize a cervical cancer screening program using AI technology, giving gifts to women in border areas.

Deputy Director of the Department of Health Pham Thi Mai Huong, along with representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, leaders of Binh Tay Food Joint Stock Company, the Entrepreneurs for the Community Fund - Ho Chi Minh City Business Association and representatives of NTD AI Healthcare Technology Joint Stock Company attended the program.

This is a practical humanitarian and charitable activity, demonstrating deep concern for the health of women in border areas, remote and isolated areas. The humanitarian highlight of the program is that NTD AI Healthcare Technology Joint Stock Company donated 4 Dr.CerviCARE cervical imaging machines, using AI technology to screen for cervical cancer, worth 1 billion VND to the Department of Health. At the same time, free screening examinations were provided for 500 women in 4 border communes: Thien Hung, Hung Phuoc, Tan Tien and Loc Tan.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also presented 500 gifts of necessities, worth 250 million VND and a solidarity house worth 60 million VND to a poor woman's household in Hung Phuoc commune. The total cost for this humanitarian activity was more than 1.4 billion VND.
