Most businesses committed to moving out of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park

(DN) - On December 5, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center said that, regarding the Project to Convert the Function of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park into an Urban - Commercial - Service Area Combined with Environmental Improvement, up to now, the majority of enterprises in the industrial park have committed to relocating and dismantling factories to move operations to a new location.

Authorities have issued nearly 50 land reclamation decisions, many of which have completed handing over clean land. In addition, a series of businesses are dismantling their structures and have committed to completing the relocation by December 2025.

There are currently about 20 enterprises that have not signed a commitment to hand over the site and have requested additional contents related to compensation and support when relocating. The provincial departments and branches are continuing to work to find consensus; at the same time, mobilizing and urging enterprises to urgently relocate. In case of intentional delay, the province will complete the dossier to proceed with compulsory demolition of the construction and compulsory land recovery according to regulations.

Also according to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, to implement the above project, the province needs to reclaim nearly 330 hectares of land and relocate all businesses and households out of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park. To date, more than 150 hectares have been reclaimed.
