On the afternoon of October 22nd, Huong Son Medical Center held a ceremony to receive 5 hemodialysis machines donated by Agribank - Ha Tinh Branch.
Attending the donation ceremony were leaders from the Department of Health , Agribank - Ha Tinh Branch, and leaders from Huong Son commune.

Five hemodialysis machines, manufactured by B.Braun Avitum AG Dialog+710200 (Germany), were donated and are valued at VND 1,782,036,000. Upon receipt, the machines were transferred to the hemodialysis unit (part of the Emergency and Intensive Care Unit of Huong Son Medical Center) to provide hemodialysis treatment for patients.
With the five newly received machines, Huong Son Medical Center now has 17 hemodialysis machines. Each day, the hospital performs hemodialysis for approximately 34 patients. According to current surveys, the number of patients with chronic kidney failure being treated in the nine communes of Huong Son area is over 100, so the number of machines is insufficient.

According to Dr. Le Nhat Thanh, Director of Huong Son Medical Center, in addition to the existing machines, the unit needs approximately 10 more hemodialysis machines to meet the demand.
In particular, Huong Son Medical Center urgently needs one or two dialysis machines (for hemodialysis) and hopes to receive support from sponsors to help patients receive treatment at the center instead of having to go to Ha Tinh General Hospital.

At the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Health Le Chanh Thanh expressed his deep gratitude for the assistance from Agribank - Ha Tinh Branch to Huong Son Medical Center, and emphasized that in the context of the center facing difficulties in purchasing medical equipment, charitable activities and equipment donations like this are very meaningful and highly humane. These devices not only contribute to improving the quality of treatment for doctors and medical staff but also help patients access services and reduce waiting times.
From 2020 to the present, Agribank Ha Tinh has contributed over 56.1 billion VND to social welfare activities in the province. Of this amount, nearly 24 billion VND was allocated to education, nearly 9 billion VND to healthcare and medical services for the people, and the remainder to other activities such as building charitable houses and mitigating the damage caused by natural disasters. In the future, Agribank - Ha Tinh Branch is committed to continuing to support localities in Ha Tinh in poverty reduction programs, healthcare, education support, and new rural development.
