According to the Executive Board of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha (GHPGVN) in Quang Binh province, Buddha's Birthday PL.2567 - DL.2023 will be held at Dai Giac Pagoda (Dong Hoi City) on June 1-2, 6 (April 2023-14 in the year of the Rabbit) and in Minh Hoa district on June 15, 4 (April 3 in the year of the Rabbit).

Buddha's Birthday is not only an opportunity for people to pray for peace and luck for themselves and their families, but also a time to learn about Buddhism, immerse themselves in the joyful and bustling atmosphere to celebrate the coming of the Buddha.
The Buddha's Birthday Ceremony took place in Ho Chi Minh City. Dong Hoi by Most Venerable Thich Tanh Niep - Vice Chairman of the Executive Board, Deputy Head of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Board cum Head of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Binh Province as the head of the Organizing Committee; Venerable Thich Truc Thai Minh – Deputy Head of the International Buddhist Division, Deputy Head of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Deputy Head of the Provincial Board of Directors of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, and Co-Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee.

The Buddha's birthday program includes activities of Listening to the Dharma, a night of music and flowers to celebrate the birthday (June 1); activities on the occasion of the Buddha's birthday PL.6 - DL.2567, placing an offering bowl on the occasion of the Buddha's birthday, carrying a flower car to celebrate the Buddha's birthday at Dai Giac pagoda, Dong Hoi city (June 2023); Buddha's Birthday celebration in Minh Hoa district, a flower car procession to celebrate Buddha's birthday, a musical night to celebrate the birthday (June 2).
At the Buddha's birthday 2023 (Buddhist calendar 2567) at Dai Giac Pagoda, City. Dong Hoi, on behalf of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Binh province, read the message of the great ceremony calling on all monks, nuns and Buddhists of Quang Binh to strive to study and follow the great deeds and careers of their predecessors; strive to do well the mission of propagating the Buddha's teachings, in solidarity and harmony with the motto of living a good life, for the sake of the homeland.

According to the Organizing Committee, the program of Buddha's birthday at Dai Giac Pagoda this year has many new activities. In Minh Hoa district, the first Buddha's birthday celebration took place here, making a good impression on the people of all ethnic groups in this border mountainous district.
