According to the report of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee, the summary activities will be implemented on three pillars, closely linked, which are: Scientific research; activities, events; information and propaganda work. Each task line is specified, with clear assignment and division of tasks, attracting the participation of key agencies in the field of culture and arts.

For the scientific research route, the summary content includes 5 scientific tasks, with the participation of the Central Council for Theory and Criticism of Literature and Arts; Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences; Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University. In addition, the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, Central and local specialized Literature and Arts Associations will coordinate with research agencies, organize discussion activities on key issues; proceed to organize seminars in each field of literature and arts, on that basis, organize a national seminar with the theme "50 years of Vietnamese literature and arts after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025): Issues and development orientations".

Focus on clarifying groups of issues such as historical context, development of Vietnamese literature and arts over the past 50 years; the process of movement, achievements, limitations, causes and issues raised in basic aspects such as innovation of thinking, improving the leadership capacity of the Party, effectiveness and efficiency of state management; creation, theory, criticism, methods of disseminating literature and arts; the issue of introducing and promoting Vietnamese literature and arts abroad and receiving foreign literature and arts in Vietnam; the current situation and development trends of the team of artists and the public of literature and arts; directions, tasks and solutions for developing literature and arts until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

Regarding activities and events, the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations and the Central specialized Literature and Arts Associations will launch and organize at all levels of the association and members nationwide to create and promote literary and artistic works with the theme "A common Vietnamese foundation", exhibit, vote and honor typical literary and artistic works in the period 1975-2025 with high ideological and artistic values, reflecting the proud development path over half a century of Vietnamese literature and arts.

In particular, on this occasion, there will be a National Arts Conference, summarizing 50 years of Vietnamese literature and arts after the country's reunification, with the participation of outstanding Vietnamese artists at home and abroad. At the Conference, Party and State leaders will meet, listen, and dialogue; thereby strengthening the belief and desire to contribute, and jointly determining the vision, mindset, and responsibility of the artists for the future of the country and the development of the country's literature and arts in the new period; honoring artists who have made important contributions to the development of Vietnamese literature and arts 50 years after the country's reunification.

Information and propaganda work will be promoted in many diverse forms, in which the focus will be on press and media agencies that will focus on vividly reflecting the content, meaning, achievements of literature and arts and the role and contributions of the country's artists; promoting outstanding works of Vietnamese literature and arts over the past half century... Publishing houses will organize new publications or reprints of outstanding and outstanding literature and arts works and research works 50 years after the country's reunification...

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha emphasized the need for a comprehensive and complete assessment of 50 years of Vietnamese literature and arts and there should be a consensus on the method of implementing the plan, with a general outline and in-depth summaries in each field. The ultimate goal of implementing the plan is to evaluate the literature and arts since the country's reunification to date, to evaluate achievements, results, causes of existence, limitations and solutions; it is possible to divide each stage of development and must place the development context in the general situation of the world. The Central Council for Theory and Criticism of Literature and Arts should write a summary and this will be a very elaborate and massive summary.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha said that it is necessary to promote communication work, but the important thing is the communication material. Therefore, it is necessary to attach responsibility to theoretical research agencies, and there must be a connection between the stages of research, summary, theory and communication.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung said that summarizing 50 years of the country's literature and arts after the country's complete reunification, it is necessary to focus on scientific research, based on scientific arguments, to accurately assess the country's literature and arts after 50 years of reunification. These scientific studies also help to plan the Party and State's policies and guidelines for literature and arts in the coming time.

The Head of the Central Propaganda Department requested relevant units to urgently review and complete the development of a plan to allocate resources to ensure implementation; the organization of scientific seminars needs to mobilize the participation and contributions of experts and scientists, ensuring the quality of scientific reports, contributing to the development of a summary report to be submitted to the Secretariat; carefully and thoroughly prepare to successfully organize the National Literature and Arts Conference summarizing 50 years of Vietnamese literature and arts after the country's reunification under the direction of the Secretariat; apply modern information technology to propaganda work on summary activities, thereby vividly reflecting the content, meaning, achievements of literature and arts and the role and contributions of the country's artists./.
