There, art lovers can encounter very ordinary scenes: a street corner, a road, familiar faces. Through their works, the artists in the Realism group have breathed new life into the art scene of Ho Chi Minh City.
The watercolor painting " Silver Stream" by artist Nguyen Toan.
Oil painting " Spring Colors" by artist Pham Binh Chuong.

When admiring the works of painter Pham Binh Chuong, we can appreciate the most typical street corners of Hanoi . Within the space of his paintings, viewers can feel the warmth and coziness of Hanoi's Old Quarter. Meanwhile, painter Pham Minh Duc explores the alleyways of Hoi An through a decisive and powerful brushstroke. The streets of painter Mai Duy Minh, on the other hand, are imbued with melancholy, regret, and loneliness. Using only the subject of streets, but through their different brushstrokes and experiences, these artists have presented… entirely different realities.
Oil painting "Waiting" by artist Nguyen Van Bay.
Oil painting " The Way Home" by artist Pham Binh Chuong.

When viewing the paintings of artist Vu Ngoc Vinh, we are left pondering family values. Through them, each person will answer their own questions about happiness and separation surrounding family issues. Meanwhile, the paintings of artist Mai Duy Minh make people feel a chilling sense of loneliness.
The Realism group included artists Le The Anh, Nguyen Van Bay, Pham Binh Chuong, Pham Minh Duc, Mai Duy Minh, Nguyen Dinh Duy Quyen, Nguyen Le Tan, Trinh Minh Tien, Nguyen Van Toan, Doan Van Toi, Le Cu Thuan, Luu Tuyen, Tran Thuc, and Vu Ngoc Vinh.
The exhibition runs until November 20th.
The 14 artists represent 14 distinct personalities. For example, Doan Van Toi is the only artist who uses acrylics, while Nguyen Van Toan paints with watercolors. Although they all paint on the theme of ethnic minorities in the highlands, artists Le Cu Thuan, Nguyen Le Tan, Nguyen Dinh Duy Quyen, and Le The Anh have completely different approaches. Nguyen Dinh Duy Quyen prefers to paint children in their most natural states, while The Anh depicts them in the most concise images. According to the artists, the most special person in the group is sculptor Tran Thuc. He is famous for his lifelike sculptures, ranging from hardworking Vietnamese mothers to illustrious generals.
Some of the works currently on display include:
Watercolor painting " After the Rain" by artist Nguyen Toan.
Oil painting "My Choice" by artist Mai Duy Minh.
Oil painting " Childhood 2" by artist Le The Anh.
