As the Party Branch Secretary and Head of Hamlet 2, My Thanh Commune, Mr. Nguyen Trung Hieu is always dedicated, responsible, and wholeheartedly committed to the people. Having been a soldier trained in a disciplined environment under President Ho Chi Minh's rule, upon returning to his hometown, Mr. Hieu continues to bring the spirit of "saying and doing" to every task, contributing to changing the face of the rural area and improving the lives of the people.

Throughout his career, Mr. Hieu has considered studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style as a guiding principle for his actions. Mr. Hieu shared: "Studying and following Uncle Ho's example isn't about grand gestures, but first and foremost about a sense of responsibility, being close to the people, respecting the people, and always putting the people's interests first in everything we do."
Aware of the exemplary role of the Party branch leader, Mr. Hieu cultivated virtue in every small detail, such as living a simple, clean, and honest life, treating the people courteously, being dedicated, and having a proactive attitude. Contributing to local development, he actively participated in everything from community meetings and mobilization to construction supervision. And one of the outstanding results is the significant change in the rural transportation system, with all the main roads in the hamlet being paved with concrete.
Not only is Mr. Hieu a leading example in road construction, but he is also at the forefront of activities supporting the poor and caring for social welfare. To date, Hamlet 2 has completely eliminated poverty, with only 4 near-poor households remaining. With the motto "leaving no one behind," he is actively proposing financial assistance for house repairs for households facing housing difficulties.
As the Party Branch Secretary and Head of the Hamlet, Mr. Hieu is exemplary in all movements. From mobilizing the people to build a cultured life, maintaining security and order, to protecting the environment, he directly monitors the area, understands the people's concerns, and promptly proposes solutions to problems. Mr. Hieu believes: "As long as people's lives are still difficult, I cannot rest easy. I always try my best to help anyone within my capabilities."
Like Mr. Hieu, Mr. Vo Thanh Son - Secretary of the Party Branch and Head of Hamlet 4, My Quy Commune, is also a prime example of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's example. For over 23 years working at the grassroots level, Mr. Son has always upheld a high sense of responsibility, ensuring his words match his actions. As the head of the Party branch, Mr. Son considers studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's example as a guiding principle in all his actions.
Mr. Son said, "Learning from Uncle Ho in a practical way means doing small, simple actions that are meaningful to the people." It is from this simple yet profound thought that he focuses on incorporating the content of learning from and following Uncle Ho's example into the Party branch's activities, ensuring 100% of Party members participate in the annual thematic discussions. Furthermore, he integrates the dissemination of this message into village meetings and group activities so that learning from and following Uncle Ho's example truly spreads into daily life.
In his work, Mr. Son always chose the approach of "going door to door," understanding the people's concerns in order to promptly resolve their difficulties. Mr. Son believed: "Officials must first and foremost be exemplary so that the people trust and follow them." Therefore, in every movement, from environmental protection and economic development to maintaining security and order and building new rural areas, Mr. Son was always at the forefront.
When Hamlet 4 launched a campaign to upgrade the inter-hamlet road, some households initially disagreed with donating land for the road. Mr. Son persistently visited their homes to persuade them, explaining the long-term benefits.
Mr. Son recounted: "If the people trust me, I have to live up to that trust. If I am sincere and transparent, the people will understand and support me. In the end, the road was completed to the delight of the people, contributing to creating a new look for the hamlet."

Not only is Mr. Son exemplary in mobilizing the people, but he also focuses on caring for the lives of Party members and people in difficult circumstances. Every year, he and the hamlet's Party branch mobilize benefactors to support the poor, donate gifts to households in difficult situations, and provide scholarships for students who overcome difficulties.
Thanks to his connections, many households have risen out of poverty and stabilized their lives. Over the years, Mr. Son has also mobilized resources to build charitable houses and solidarity houses with a total cost of over 400 million VND to help households facing housing difficulties.
For over two decades, Mr. Vo Thanh Son has diligently performed countless unnamed tasks at the grassroots level, remaining simple and humble. He added: "As a grassroots official, you have to speak and act, leading the way, for the people to trust you. I only hope that the hamlet will prosper and the people's lives will become more comfortable."
Party branch secretaries like Mr. Hieu and Mr. Son, with their actions for the people, deserve to be shining examples in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's example.
