
A diverse menu
Every day at 11 a.m., nearly 1,000 workers and employees of Nissei Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd. arrive at the company's canteen. On the trays are hot, beautifully presented, and clean dishes prepared by the kitchen staff. Notably, this is the most expensive meal of the month, so the menu is richer, more varied, and more nutritious. After taking their food, groups of workers begin their meal in a cheerful atmosphere.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Bich, a worker at Nissei Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd., shared: "Today's meal includes white rice, shrimp, chicken, stir-fried vegetables, crab soup, and yogurt for dessert. Compared to normal days, today's menu has more dishes and is more nutritious. I hope the trade union and the company will continue to have more policies to take care of the lives of workers."
Nissei Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd. maintains a monthly "special meal" program to supplement the nutritional needs of its employees after stressful working hours. Each meal costs approximately 50,000 VND, double the usual price. To make the meals more palatable for employees, the kitchen regularly changes the menu. Ingredients are sourced from reputable manufacturers with clear origins to ensure food safety and hygiene. Since its inception, the company has never experienced any cases of food poisoning among its workers.

Tinh Loi Garment Co., Ltd. currently employs approximately 20,000 workers, the largest number in the province. Over the years, the company has consistently focused on improving the quality of meals to ensure its workers have the necessary health and energy for production. The company maintains a daily meal allowance for its employees at around 25,000 VND per person. On special occasions, the company increases the meal cost to nearly 50,000 VND per serving.
The meals are prepared in a variety of ways, with over 10 different dishes. Desserts include fruit, yogurt, or fresh milk. Furthermore, the company fully covers the costs of electricity and water for the service provider, so the meal allowance remains unaffected.

This is a good and practical idea that fosters connection and sharing between employers and employees. After a period of implementation, this activity has received attention and positive feedback from all levels, sectors, and workers.
Taya Vietnam Wire and Cable Joint Stock Company is a model enterprise in Cam Giang district in caring for the lives of its employees. Since 2019, the company has consistently maintained a "special meal" every Wednesday, with the participation of all levels of leadership. Beyond providing nutrition, this meal also offers employees an opportunity to express their thoughts, aspirations, and difficulties encountered in their work and production. Many issues have been promptly addressed by company leaders, helping employees feel secure and committed to their work.

According to Mr. Phan Quang Trung, Chairman of the Trade Union of Taya Vietnam Wire and Cable Joint Stock Company, the company currently has 104 employees. To ensure the health of its workers, the company always pays attention to the quality of meals. Instead of hiring external units, the company proactively selects ingredients and cooks meals directly. The meal portions are constantly changed based on employee feedback. In particular, every Wednesday, the trade union organizes a "special meal" with a more varied menu to supplement nutrients for the employees.
"The special meal organized by the union was held in a joyful, open, and cohesive atmosphere. The workers were very enthusiastic about participating in this activity. This was also an opportunity for company leaders and the grassroots union to understand the thoughts and aspirations of the workers. From there, they could come up with solutions to improve labor and production efficiency," Trung shared.
