Theoretically, 5G networks are 10 to 100 times faster than 4G, and initial user experiences show the impressive speed of this new generation network technology. To experience high-speed 5G, users need to own devices that support 5G. Currently, not only high-end smartphones but also mid-range and budget smartphones support 5G connectivity. Below are a few examples for your reference.
Samsung Galaxy M15 5G - Estimated price: 4.69 million VND
This is one of the most affordable 5G-enabled smartphones on the market today. It boasts a large 6,000mAh battery. Despite its price tag of under 5 million VND, the Galaxy M15 5G boasts a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Inside is the Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ chip. The drawback of this smartphone is its relatively modest battery capacity of only 4,500mAh.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G - Estimated price: 5.59 million VND
Xiaomi's smartphone boasts impressive specifications, featuring a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside is a Snapdragon 695 5G chip, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with support for an external memory card slot. The back of the device features a triple camera setup, with the main camera boasting a 108-megapixel resolution. It's equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. A drawback of this smartphone is that it was released in February 2022, meaning software updates are no longer available.
Vivo V29e 5G - Suggested retail price: 6.99 million VND

Of course, at 10.99 million VND, it's hard to call this a "cheap price" for a smartphone. However, this is currently the lowest-priced 5G-enabled iPhone on the market. Despite being released four years ago, the iPhone 12 is still officially distributed in Vietnam. The product features a 6.1-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution, but only a 60Hz refresh rate. Inside, the iPhone 12 houses the A14 Bionic chip, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage; it does not support external memory card slots. The back features a dual camera system, both with 12-megapixel resolution. The battery on the iPhone 12 is also quite modest, at only 2,815mAh. Of course, it's difficult to expect more in terms of specifications from a four-year-old smartphone, but the iPhone 12 is still highly regarded for its performance at the present time.
