After four nights of dramatic and suspenseful auditions, the top 9 contestants of "Golden Bell of Traditional Vietnamese Music" have advanced to the first final round, getting closer to the top prize of the season. Throughout this time, they have diligently practiced to deliver the most impressive performances for the audience. And to ensure their performances reach their peak, the "support" from the backstage team is indispensable.
Those "teachers" don't lecture.
A successful musical performance always bears the mark of talented musicians. They know the tunes by heart, are intimately familiar with each layer of the vọng cổ (traditional Vietnamese folk song), and are always attentive to support the singer's voice when a string slips or a beat goes off. Because of this wisdom and skill, they are known in the theater world by a title that is both respectful and familiar: "master musicians."

These musicians have played a major role in building the "Golden Bell" brand.
This year's Golden Bell Music Ensemble includes members who have been with the show since its early days, as well as newcomers who have been with the program for a few years. But ultimately, their commonality lies in their love for the profession and the program, which allows them to play the notes and melodies that support the songs and voices.

The indispensable musical instruments in the traditional Vietnamese folk music ensemble, along with the skillful hands, have created melodies that touch people's hearts, serving as a stepping stone for singers to shine.
Unauthorized “witches”
To ensure the singer fully immerses themselves in the song and takes to the stage with an appearance captivating the audience, a meticulous process by the makeup and costume team is behind the scenes. They research the setting, age, and social status to "capture the essence" of the character, from the skin tone and eyebrow shape to the wig style and even the folds and hems of the clothing.

These unsung heroes have breathed life into the characters, helping the artists shine on stage.
Ms. Bao Ly, the costume designer for the contestants since the first season, continues her familiar work for 20 seasons, having helped countless contestants, including winners of the Golden Bell and Silver Bell awards. Some have continued their careers, while others have chosen to put their passion aside. But after all, they all remember a meticulous costume designer who carefully adjusted every stitch.

Ms. Bao Ly - the woman who has spent 20 seasons "supporting and assisting" each character on stage.
They are like wizards using their "magical powers"—their skill and expertise—to "transform" the contestants into characters straight out of the playwright's script.

Uncle Tuan Tu - The man who "imparts" the essence to create the props that support the singing performances.
Golden Bell Technical Team: A solid foundation
Every round of applause for the melodious folk songs, every captivating glance, every skillful movement reflects the tireless operation of a behind-the-scenes machine: the technical team adjusting the sound, tuning the lights; the backstage crew coordinating the comings and goings; and the art department creating the storytelling space. All connected like gears, creating nights of performances that leave a lasting impression on the audience.

The LED screen, sound, and lighting technicians contributed to the success of the show.
It is these silent but skilled hands, these people who have to rack their brains for every note to ensure that the sound, lighting, and other elements are perfectly executed, who create the beautiful films for the audience to enjoy.

The polished footage presented to the audience is the result of the efforts of the entire technical and cinematography team.
Golden Bell Award for Traditional Vietnamese Music: See you at…the passion
The competition will eventually crown only one champion; who stays and who leaves after each final night is inevitable. But it is the burning passion of the singers, coupled with the unwavering support from the team, that makes each time they step onto the stage a chance to fully experience their love for Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera).

The Golden Bell of Traditional Vietnamese Music competition is not just a contest, but, true to its motto, a platform for "igniting passion."
