In 2026, Ha Dong's lychee production is expected to reach approximately 14,000 tons. Early-ripening lychees from Ha Dong have beautiful appearance and a sweet, refreshing taste. They are consumed domestically and exported to countries such as China, Japan, and the United States. Early-season lychees in Ha Dong are sold at high and stable prices right from the beginning of the season, ranging from 35,000 to 40,000 VND/kg.
Ha Dong commune currently has about 1,600 hectares of lychee orchards, mainly early-ripening varieties. Due to unfavorable weather conditions, this year's early-ripening lychee yield has decreased by half compared to last year. However, the price of early-ripening lychees this year is higher, ranging from 10,000 to 15,000 VND/kg. At this time, farmers in Ha Dong are in the midst of harvesting, and the early lychee harvest will be basically finished in about a week. Ha Dong commune has about 20 fabric weighing stations, providing jobs for hundreds of local workers and those from other provinces.
