Nintendo Switch 2 revealed

According to Nintendo, the Nintendo Switch 2, the successor to the Nintendo Switch system, will be released in 2025.

In the company's new video , the Nintendo Switch 2 has a similar design to its predecessor. The video also shows that the system's controllers attach to the side of the device instead of sliding in.

The company also revealed that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be able to play exclusive Switch 2 titles as well as Nintendo Switch games in both physical and digital formats. However, some Nintendo Switch games may not be supported or fully compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2.

The company also revealed details about the system, which will be announced at the Nintendo Direct event in April. Simultaneously, "Nintendo Switch 2 Experience" events will be held in various countries, where players can experience the new system.

These events could be held starting in April, with ticket registration beginning on January 17th.

Earlier rumors suggested that the number of Switch 2 consoles would be very limited, with only about 650,000 units distributed globally, so fans would likely have to compete fiercely to get their hands on this gaming console in the initial period.
