Nissan X-Trail launches a special Multi-Bed edition for adventure travelers.

Nissan has just launched a special edition X-Trail Rock Creek Multi-Bed in Japan, adding a range of features geared towards camping, touring, and sleeping in the vehicle.

This marks the first time the Japanese automaker has applied the "Multi-Bed" configuration for the Nissan X-trail – previously seen on minivans like the Caravan, Serena, and Vanette – to an SUV model.

The highlight of the X-Trail Multi-Bed is the double mattress that can be quickly installed at the rear of the vehicle, extending from the cargo area to the flat-folded rear seats. The mattress is made from waterproof Cordura material.

The striking red stitching contrasts with the interior, creating a sense of harmony and solidity. When not in use, the mattress can be removed, folded, and stored in the luggage compartment, leaving ample space for other belongings.

The luggage floor is lined with a hard panel, and can be fitted with an optional rubber mat for increased durability and ease of cleaning – ideal for long trips where weather and road conditions are not ideal.

In addition to its convenient features, customers can personalize the X-Trail Multi-Bed's appearance with the Sotoasobi package, which includes a matte black painted hood, bolt-on wheel arch covers, and unique badges, creating a powerful and distinctive look for the hybrid SUV.

Additionally, Nissan offers three optional packages: Outdoor Package: mudguards, door sill covers, running boards, door handle covers, and trunk film. Roof Carrier Package: roof rack for carrying luggage, suitable for long journeys or transporting sports equipment. Rock Creek Basic Plus Package: floor mats, door rain shields, license plate holder, and wheel lock set.

The 2026 Nissan X-Trail Multi-Bed utilizes a self-charging e-Power hybrid powertrain, coupled with e-4ORCE all-wheel drive, ensuring both fuel efficiency and performance across a variety of terrains.

The model will be showcased at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2026 and has already begun distribution in Japan with a starting price of 5,327,300 yen (approximately $34,000 USD - over 885 million VND).
