In recent years, the spirit of mutual support and assistance has been strongly promoted by officials and people in Phuoc Thuong village. Ms. Tran Thi Thu Nga, Head of Phuoc Thuong village, said that the people always promote solidarity and are ready to join hands to support each other with labor and materials when facing difficulties.
Notably, in 2025, the village mobilized residents and philanthropists to support Ms. Pham Thi Lien (Group 4B), who was injured in an accident, with a donation of 18.8 million VND. Prior to this, many other needy cases also received timely assistance, such as the family of Mr. Phan Van Thong (Group 3B) with over 40 million VND, Mr. Dinh Duc Dong (Group 1) with over 13 million VND, and Mr. Nguyen Quang Hiep (Group 9) with over 90 million VND.
Not only do they help those in need, but every year, each household in the village voluntarily contributes funds to reward students who overcome difficulties and excel in their studies. The village also established a "Gratitude and Social Welfare" fund to support the poor.
In recent times, the construction of solidarity houses in Que Son Trung commune has been effectively implemented. At the end of January 2026, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune organized the handover of a solidarity house to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Binh (Phuoc Ninh village). The house was built with a total cost of approximately 300 million VND, of which the commune's "For the Poor" Fund contributed 50 million VND, and the rest was contributed by charitable organizations and individuals.
In addition, Mrs. Binh's family also received support in the form of household items and assistance in opening a Quang-style noodle shop to develop their economy . Mrs. Binh shared: "The new house is a great source of encouragement that helps my family stabilize our lives, work with peace of mind, and gradually rise out of poverty sustainably."

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Ha, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Que Son Trung commune, in implementing the emulation movement "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses," the commune's Fatherland Front has surveyed the entire area and identified 49 households in need of new construction or house repairs. From there, the Fatherland Front actively mobilized social resources and effectively utilized the "Fund for the Poor" to support the people.
From July 1st, 2025 to the present, the locality has supported the construction of 4 solidarity houses with a total cost of over 600 million VND. In addition, over the past 9 months, the commune's Fatherland Front has mobilized charitable organizations and individuals to donate gifts to the poor and those in difficult circumstances in the area, totaling over 4.2 billion VND. They have also visited and supported families affected by natural disasters, fires, and unexpected difficulties with nearly 150 million VND.
“In 2026, Que Son Trung commune strives to reduce the number of poor households by 18. The commune's Fatherland Front will continue to promote activities to care for and support vulnerable people; proactively implement relief work when natural disasters occur... contributing to the effective implementation of social security policies in the area,” Mr. Ha said.
