According to the latest update, localities with projects passing through have handed over a total of 70.33/71.38 km of land. Specifically, the communes of Viet An, Kham Duc, Phuoc Hiep, Phuoc Tra, and Dong Duong have completed land clearance, with remaining land clearance issues located in Thang Binh and Hiep Duc communes. In Hiep Duc commune, land clearance has been completed for 8.965/9.35 km. The remaining area is being held up by 6 households, along the section bypassing the center of Tan Binh town (formerly Hiep Duc district).
The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14E through Thang Binh commune spans over 4.1km. To date, the local authorities and relevant units have handed over 3.6km (reaching 85.8%). Despite the commune's best efforts, land clearance issues in the area for the railway overpass construction remain unresolved.
In the first phase of land clearance (road width of 3.5m), compensation, support, and resettlement plans have been approved for 59 households, but 3 households have not yet received the money. Of those who have received the money, 6 households have only allowed partial construction; 3 households have not yet handed over the land and are requesting compensation for the land outside the 15.7m line, awaiting resettlement arrangements as committed by the People's Committee of Thang Binh district (formerly).
Within the land acquisition area up to the 15.7m line (5.5m wide service road), the Commune People's Committee has approved 56 out of 59 households, of which 10 have received compensation and handed over the land. Land acquisition outside the project's land acquisition line (outside the 15.7m line) affects 30 households. The relevant unit is currently seeking opinions from relevant departments and agencies to approve the project.
