Efforts to restore water supply system

Thai Nguyen Clean Water Joint Stock Company is managing and operating 11 water supply plants and water circulation stations in the province. In the central area of Thai Nguyen province alone, there are 4 water supply plants, playing an important role in providing domestic water for the people.

During the recent floods, two factories in the central area of the province were damaged, seriously affecting the clean water supply. In this situation, the Company is focusing all resources and urgently implementing remedial measures to quickly stabilize the system and ensure water supply to the people as soon as possible.

Mr. Tran Tien Soan, Head of Sales Department of Thai Nguyen Clean Water Joint Stock Company, said: Currently, the Company's water production plants are experiencing serious problems, greatly affecting the machinery and equipment systems. Although the unit has proactively deployed response plans, due to the rapid rise in water levels and deep flooding, the situation is beyond expectations, causing water supply to some areas in the province to be interrupted.

Thai Nguyen Clean Water Joint Stock Company currently has an operating capacity of 120,000m3/day and night, providing domestic water to more than 85,000 customers. After storm No. 11, the Company mobilized all human resources, urgently cleaned, repaired and fixed damaged equipment, and made efforts to restore domestic water supply to the people.

Sharing about the work of overcoming the consequences of the flood, Ms. Nguyen Thi Doan Ngoc, a staff member of the Company, said: Immediately after the water receded, all staff and workers quickly returned to work, organized cleaning and repairs to restore the water supply soon. Our highest goal is to ensure a timely source of domestic water for people after the flood.

People are in dire need of water for daily life, cleaning utensils and houses immediately after the flood recedes.

In parallel with troubleshooting, Thai Nguyen Clean Water Joint Stock Company continues to strictly control the quality of water sources, ensuring that post-flood water always meets safety standards according to regulations. Water samples are regularly tested, and the treatment system is operated continuously to remove impurities and harmful microorganisms.

At the same time, the Company cooperates with local authorities to promote the use of hygienic water among people, contributing to protecting public health in the post-disaster period.

Currently, the Company continues to strengthen its processing and distribution capacity, maintain inspection and monitoring of water quality to ensure adequate and stable supply of clean water for people, contributing to stabilizing life and restoring production after floods.
