The Green Bamboo Art Club was formed from the development of a neighborhood art troupe, aiming to professionalize artistic activities in the locality. Currently, the club has 27 members from Yen Bai ward and Yen Binh commune, organized into specialized groups including singers, dancers, and musicians.
This is a common home for art lovers, where members can interact, practice, and improve their skills. The Green Bamboo Club is also a core force, actively participating in local cultural and artistic movements. In particular, the club is always ready to support and provide artistic performances for programs organized by veterans' associations, professional associations, alumni associations, and many other social organizations.

Twice a week, the club regularly meets at a familiar cafe in Yen Bai ward. There, members discuss their professional work and share inspiring cultural performances with the audience.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong, owner of Tre Xanh coffee shop in Yen Bai ward, shared: "When we came up with the idea of a coffee shop that combines singing, we wanted to create a spacious and airy environment with a small but intimate stage and good sound system so that everyone could share their singing with the audience. I never expected that our establishment and club would receive such widespread love from the audience as we have today."
A distinctive feature of the club is its diverse age group, with the majority being middle-aged and retired members. Mr. Tran Duy Tam, a member of the Green Bamboo Art Club in Yen Bai ward, despite being over 70 years old, still maintains regular and active participation in the club's activities.
At each event, the audience is immersed in a simple, intimate musical atmosphere with a wide variety of genres. Most participants share a feeling of joy and connection through musical interaction, while also having the opportunity to relax and relieve stress after their daily work and activities.
The journey from a neighborhood performing arts group to an art club is a testament to the dedication of all its members. In the future, the Green Bamboo Art Club will continue to strive to improve its expertise to bring even more outstanding performances, contributing to enriching the spiritual life of the local people.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Hung, Chairman of the Green Bamboo Art Club in Yen Bai Ward, added: "The club will continue to be a bridge connecting people passionate about music, expanding its membership, and providing a beneficial playground for those with similar interests. At the same time, we will actively participate in activities of the club, groups, and the ward to spread positive and meaningful messages."

With the motto "Live happily, live healthily, live usefully," the Green Bamboo Art Club always welcomes art lovers to join and connect. It's an ideal meeting place for music enthusiasts to immerse themselves in sweet melodies, while simultaneously spreading their love of art and cultural values to the community.
