The advantages of HANA No. 7 are its high resistance to pests and diseases, short growing season, and early and uniform heading. In the Red River Delta and the northern mountainous midlands, the growing season is approximately 125-130 days in the spring crop and 100-105 days in the autumn crop. In Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands, it is shortened to 120-125 days in the winter-spring crop and 98-100 days in the summer-autumn crop. The average yield is 6.8-7.6 tons/ha, and with good intensive farming practices, it can reach 8-8.5 tons/ha.
HANA No. 7 offers high yield and quality, with translucent white rice that produces delicious, soft, and chewy cooked rice, meeting export standards.

HANA No. 7 possesses many outstanding characteristics.
Thanks to its superior characteristics, HANA No. 7 has earned the trust and preference of farmers in Nghe An province . Despite facing unfavorable conditions due to storms and unpredictable weather changes, this rice variety remains largely unaffected, maintaining stable yields and quality. It serves as a solid foundation for farmers in key production areas such as Yen Thanh and Yen Thanh districts.
