Noo Phuoc Thinh speaks about his statement that was allegedly a 'mocking' remark directed at Son Tung.

On the afternoon of June 2nd, Noo Phuoc Thinh officially made his comeback after many years of absence. He released the EP "Nhat May" (Pick Up the Phone ), a collaboration with Chi Pu, 52Hz, and DTAP.

Sharing the reason for his "hiatus" over the past few years, the male singer said that for a long time, he struggled to find a direction for his career. In addition, Noo Phuoc Thinh also faced personal life challenges. At times, he "lost his passion for singing" and wanted to stop singing altogether.

“In recent years, people have seen some of my performances at music award ceremonies being well-received, supported, and achieving certain successes. It was there that I met young artists with modern musical perspectives. I thought, 'Well, when the opportunity comes, I have to seize it.' I was uplifted. Music has no limits. I still believe I can do it and I have to change, not just stop at singing ballads or dance music,” the singer shared.

The male singer responded: “It’s also because of my own ‘random tongue.’ But actually, I appreciate everyone. Now that technology is developing, people’s online ecosystems depend on what they watch. Around me, I watch 52Hz and Chi Pu to learn and work on my projects. Sometimes my mind gets all jumbled up. In those brief moments on social media, I just focus on observing and following the people I’m about to collaborate with. I don’t have too much information. And when 52Hz releases a song, I share it with her. This is out of admiration. Sometimes I don’t think that post is sensitive.”

He continued, “Sometimes I have to take a moment to reflect on the fact that there are things we shouldn’t keep arguing about, endlessly explaining stories. At this age, I don’t want to make unwise decisions for no reason. I feel I shouldn’t talk about this too much. Right now, I’m living positively.”

Earlier, on the evening of May 28th, Son Tung released the music video for "Come My Way. " The product attracted attention and discussion from fans.

However, not long after, Noo Phuoc Thinh's name unexpectedly started being mentioned by netizens. The reason stemmed from the singer's social media post. Specifically, he shared 52Hz's new song, " Take Me Back ." Along with the post, he wrote: "This song will definitely not disappoint. Good job, 52Hz."

Besides opinions suggesting this is simply a gesture to support a junior artist, many netizens suspect Noo Phuoc Thinh is subtly mocking Son Tung.
