On the afternoon of October 23rd, at the Ninh Thuan Provincial Military Command, the Ninh Thuan Provincial Military, Police, and Border Guard forces held a quarterly meeting for the third quarter of 2024 to review the implementation of Government Decree No. 03/2019/ND-CP on coordinating the performance of tasks related to national security protection, ensuring social order and safety, combating crime, and national defense.

In the third quarter, the Military, Public Security, and Border Guard forces effectively advised the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of tasks and solutions to effectively carry out the Directives and Resolutions of the Party and State on national defense and security. Notably, they successfully advised the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on organizing a civil defense exercise to respond to forest fires in Bac Ai district and a fire prevention and fighting exercise throughout the province; effectively coordinated the implementation of tasks related to protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, combating crime, and national defense; and organized and reviewed plans to ensure the safety of key targets, important projects, and significant political events.

In the coming period, the Military, Public Security, and Border Guard forces will continue to strengthen and improve the effectiveness of coordination, assessment, and forecasting of the global, regional, and domestic situations related to and impacting national security interests, territorial sovereignty of the Fatherland, and the work of ensuring security, order, and social safety, especially the subversive activities of hostile and reactionary forces; improve the effectiveness of advisory work and the resolution of social conflicts, especially those related to ethnic, religious, land, and environmental issues... preventing the emergence of complex incidents and the formation of "hot spots" in security and order, creating a safe environment for socio-economic development in the locality; promote the core and pioneering role in the prevention and control of natural disasters, epidemics, rescue, and relief; actively participate in ensuring social welfare, people's safety, and the comprehensive recovery and development of all aspects of social life. Maintain strict combat readiness duty, coordinate reconnaissance, detection and handling of ultralight aircraft; proactively develop a plan for coordinated deployment of forces to ensure absolute safety of key targets, important facilities, and significant events of the province and the country.
