On November 11, information from Anh Hung Nup High School (To Tung commune, Gia Lai ) said that the school had terminated the labor contract with Ms. PTHB (born 2003, a contract Chemistry teacher at Anh Hung Nup High School) because she used a ruler to hit a student's hand many times.

According to initial information, on the morning of November 3, during a Chemistry class in class 10A, Ms. B. called a number of students to the board to do an exercise. Any student who answered incorrectly or did not meet the requirements, she immediately used a ruler to hit their hands many times. In the recorded clip, many students had to line up on the podium, then Ms. B. used a ruler to hit each student's hand 10 times.

A parent whose child was beaten in the incident said that if the children did not do well in their studies, they should be corrected, but they cannot be educated by using violence like that. The children may be poor students, but that is something that requires coordination between the school and the family, not violence.

It is known that Ms. B. has just graduated from the university of education. Because Anh Hung Nup High School lacks chemistry teachers, the school signed a teaching contract with her from the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year. After receiving feedback about her using a ruler to hit a student's hand, the school held a meeting and decided to terminate Ms. B's labor contract.

According to a leader of Anh Hung Nup High School, if parents submit a petition to the authorities, the school will coordinate to clarify the teacher's responsibility. At the same time, the school has arranged for another teacher to teach chemistry for grade 10 to ensure that students' learning is not interrupted.
