On November 11th, information from Anh Hung Nup High School (To Tung commune, Gia Lai province) indicated that the school had terminated the employment contract of Ms. PTHB (born in 2003, a contract teacher of Chemistry at Anh Hung Nup High School) for repeatedly hitting students' hands with a ruler.
According to initial information, on the morning of November 3rd, during a Chemistry lesson in class 10A, Ms. B. called several students to the board to do exercises. If any student answered incorrectly or did not meet the requirements, she would repeatedly hit their hands hard with a ruler. In the recorded video, many students lined up at the front of the classroom, after which Ms. B. used a ruler to hit each student's hand 10 times.

A parent whose child was beaten in the incident said that while children need guidance if they make mistakes in their studies or are not doing well academically, they cannot be educated through violent beatings. Children may be struggling academically, but that requires cooperation between the school and the family, not violence.
It is known that Ms. B. recently graduated from a teacher training university. Due to a shortage of chemistry teachers at Anh Hung Nup High School, the school signed a teaching contract with her starting from the 2025-2026 school year. After receiving complaints about her using a ruler to hit students' hands, the school held a meeting and decided to terminate Ms. B.'s employment contract.
According to a leader of Anh Hung Nup High School, if parents submit a petition to the relevant authorities, the school will cooperate to clarify the teacher's responsibility. At the same time, the school has arranged for another teacher to teach chemistry to the 10th grade students to ensure that their learning is not interrupted.
