Female candidate mistakes school for the correct one before the literature exam.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - A student participating in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in Hue encountered an unusual incident, but fortunately received timely assistance.

On the morning of June 26th, nearly 14,000 candidates in Hue City began taking the first subject, Literature, in the 2025 High School Graduation Examination. According to reporters' observations, most candidates appeared relaxed and confident before the exam started.

Notably, a female student taking the exam at Hai Ba Trung High School (Thuan Hoa district) mistakenly went to the wrong exam location, which was at Hue National High School for the Gifted, because the two schools are close to each other and quite similar.

Just before the exam started, the invigilator realized the student had gone to the wrong location, so they escorted him to the gate and asked the police for assistance to get him to Hai Ba Trung High School in time.

At the exam site at Dang Tran Con High School (Phu Xuan district), the team of volunteers also promptly assisted the student in wheelchairs to get into the exam hall on time.

Previously, in October 2019, this female student was involved in a traffic accident while traveling on the road during heavy rain, resulting in injuries.

Also this morning, candidates taking the Literature exam at the Cao Thang High School exam center (Thuan Hoa district) received "lucky" pens from volunteers along with best wishes for the exam.

According to the Hue City Department of Education and Training, 13,946 candidates registered to take the 2025 High School Graduation Examination. Of these, 507 are independent candidates, including 323 candidates taking the exam under the 2006 General Education Program and 184 candidates taking the exam under the 2018 General Education Program.

Hue City has arranged 39 centralized examination centers. Among them, the examination center at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School (Thuan Hoa district) is specifically for candidates taking the 2006 General Education Program, with 13 examination rooms (including one combined subject examination room).

The remaining 38 examination centers are located in high schools and junior high schools in the area, with a total of 602 examination rooms (28 combined subject rooms), serving candidates taking the 2018 General Education Program.
