After more than 20 years dedicated to music , Lieutenant Colonel and singer Nhat Huyen introduces her music project, "The Color of the Nation - The Color of Peace." She is joined by musician Ta Duy Tuan, who is responsible for composing and producing the entire project.
This is not only a significant milestone in Nhat Huyen's career but also a tribute from soldier-artists to the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the generations of ancestors who sacrificed to preserve the peace we enjoy today.
The song "Color of the Nation - Color of Peace" is structured as an epic poem comprising eight songs, combining elements of national culture with modern musical language.

Speaking to VietNamNet reporters, singer Nhat Huyen emotionally shared that the idea for the music project "The Color of the Country - The Color of Peace" was inspired by a special moment in her career.
The singer recounted that during a State Award ceremony hosted by an older brother, she performed the song "We Love Uncle Ho Chi Minh ." Although this song had been successfully performed by many generations of artists, standing on that stage brought her very different emotions.
"Singing in such a solemn setting, I felt a surge of gratitude and pride. At that moment, the spirit of an artist, and also a soldier, was awakened more powerfully than ever before," Nhat Huyen said emotionally.
That very emotion motivated her and her team to embark on the project "The Color of the Nation - The Color of Peace," with the desire to recount her more than 20-year journey with art in the military environment.
According to Nhat Huyen, the project is not only a personal milestone but also her tribute to the homeland, to peace, and to the more than two decades she spent wearing the military uniform.
"Throughout my more than 20 years of service in the military and nearly 30 years in the arts, I have accumulated many valuable experiences. I hope to convey all my love for the country, national pride, and the responsibility of an artist-soldier through this project," she said.
The project aims to spread traditional values in contemporary life, with the spirit of inheriting and continuing the mission of preserving national cultural identity. The songs are performed in a familiar, accessible style, suitable for a wide audience, especially the younger generation.
With her powerful, semi-classic voice, Nhat Huyen chooses a refined and elegant yet emotionally rich style of performance. Under the arrangement of musician Ta Duy Tuan, the works blend Semi-Symphony, Cinematic with Pop, Rock, Acoustic and Ballad, creating a whole that is both intellectually profound and artistically rich.

Eight songs tell eight stories about the homeland and peace. "The Glory We Reach" opens the project with an epic cinematic atmosphere, recreating the long history of the nation and igniting the aspiration for Vietnam to reach out to the world . And from there, I fell in love with the youthful approach to the theme of the Party, expressing the faith and ideals of today's generation. "We Love Uncle Ho Chi Minh" is a pure and innocent song from children to President Ho Chi Minh.
Let's Sing Vietnam is a vibrant Pop Rock song, celebrating the spirit of unity and the vitality of a young, peaceful Vietnam. "My Love and Trust" is a love song dedicated to the women on the home front, those who always hold firm to their faith and love for the soldiers. "Why Haven't You Come Home Yet, Mom?" is an emotionally rich song, telling the story of the silent sacrifices of a soldier's family from a child's perspective. Even though it's the last tribute to the police officers who face danger day and night to protect peaceful lives.
The color of the country - the color of peace - concludes the project as a summary of the overarching ideology, affirming that peace is woven from history, gratitude, and the unity of millions of Vietnamese hearts.
