On the afternoon of June 13th, leaders of Giao Yen commune (Giao Thuy district, Nam Dinh province) reported that a 7-seater car traveling on National Highway 37B through Giao Yen suddenly caught fire.
According to initial information, the car fire occurred around 12 noon on the same day. The vehicle was in motion when suddenly black smoke appeared, followed by flames.
The flames quickly engulfed the entire vehicle, burning fiercely and sending a column of black smoke rising hundreds of meters into the air.
A 7-seater car caught fire in the scorching midday sun in Nam Dinh.
Many local residents witnessed the incident but were unable to put out the fire.
"At the time the vehicle caught fire, there were people inside who managed to escape in time, so fortunately there were no casualties. Immediately afterwards, the fire department and relevant authorities arrived to extinguish the fire, secure the scene, and determine the cause of the fire," said the leader of Giao Yen commune.
