Thirteen renowned mathematicians in Ho Chi Minh City have joined the Executive Board for the 2025-2030 term of the Ho Chi Minh City Mathematical Society. Among them, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Hoang Quan, Rector of Saigon University, was elected Chairman. Dr. Tran Nam Dung, Vice-Rector of the High School for the Gifted (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City), was elected Vice-Chairman.

The remaining members are renowned mathematicians who are vice principals and heads of departments at universities and high schools in Ho Chi Minh City, such as: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kieu Phuong Chi (Saigon University); Mr. Nguyen Bao Quoc (Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Minh Triet (Saigon University); Prof. Dr. Mai Hoang Bien (Ho Chi Minh City University of Science); Mr. Than Duc Minh (Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted); Dr. Nguyen Le Chi Quyet (Ho Chi Minh City University of Education); MSc. Pham Quang Thien (Principal of Binh Phu High School); MSc. Ho Loc Thuan (Saigon Practice High School); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Thanh Tinh (University of Information Technology); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Tung (Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Hoang Uyen (University of Economics and Law).

Dr. Tran Nam Dung, Vice Principal of the High School for the Gifted (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City), has been appointed Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Mathematical Society.

The Ho Chi Minh City Mathematical Society Congress is held every five years to discuss and make decisions aimed at developing the society in line with its goals and priorities, and to summarize and evaluate the results of activities in the previous term. Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Mathematical Society has more than 200 delegates representing universities, colleges, and high schools in Ho Chi Minh City.

Over the past five years, the Ho Chi Minh City Mathematical Society has invited dozens of renowned professors from around the world to Vietnam to participate in mathematical activities such as the annual summer meeting and the Open Mathematics Day, including Professor Le Quang Nam (Indiana University, USA), Professor Nguyen Tien Khai (North Carolina State University, USA), Professor Phan Van Tuoc (Tensesee University – Knoxville, USA), Professor Tran Vinh Hung (Wiscosin Madison University, USA), Professor Ho Si Tung Lam (Dalhousie University, Canada), Professor Nguyen Dang Hung (University of Tennessee, USA), Dr. Nguyen The Minh (Saigon University), Professor Tran Chieu Minh (National University, Singapore), Professor Suzanne Lenhart (Tensesee University – Knoxville, USA), Professor Nguyen Tien Khai (North Carolina State University, USA), Professor Tran Minh Binh (Texas A&M University, USA), Professor Armin Schikorra (University of Pittsburgh, USA), etc.
