13 famous mathematicians in Ho Chi Minh City joined the Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term of the Ho Chi Minh City Mathematics Association. Among them, Associate Professor, Doctor of Mathematics Pham Hoang Quan, Principal of Saigon University, was elected as Chairman. Dr. Tran Nam Dung, Vice Principal of the High School for the Gifted (Ho Chi Minh City National University) was elected as Vice Chairman.
The remaining members are famous mathematicians who are vice principals and deans of universities and high schools in Ho Chi Minh City such as: Associate Professor, Dr. Kieu Phuong Chi (Saigon University); Mr. Nguyen Bao Quoc (Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City); Associate Professor, Dr. Le Minh Triet (Saigon University); Associate Professor, Dr. Mai Hoang Bien (Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Sciences); Mr. Than Duc Minh (Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted); Dr. Nguyen Le Chi Quyet (Ho Chi Minh City University of Education); MSc. Pham Quang Thien (Principal of Binh Phu High School); MSc. Ho Loc Thuan (Saigon Practical High School); Associate Professor, Dr. Cao Thanh Tinh (University of Information Technology); Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Minh Tung (Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking); Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Hoang Uyen (University of Economics and Law).
The Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Mathematics Association takes place every five years to discuss and make decisions to develop the association in line with its goals and key points, and to summarize and evaluate the results of its activities in the previous term. Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Mathematics Association has more than 200 delegates representing universities, colleges and high schools in Ho Chi Minh City.
