Ho Chi Minh City Police Department said that up to now, the initial investigation has clarified the behavior of Phan Cong Khanh (alias Khanh Super, born in 1994, from Ben Tre , residing in District 7) and his accomplices.

On July 10, the Investigation Police Agency prosecuted and issued an arrest warrant for Phan Cong Khanh for the crime of “Fraudulent appropriation of property”. Khanh is known to be the Director of K Supper Company Limited, specializing in supercar trading in Vietnam.

In addition, Ho Chi Minh City Police also decided to temporarily detain Mohamach Da Pha (born in 1996, from An Giang , an employee at Khanh's K Supper Showroom) for the act of "Fraudulent appropriation of property".

According to the investigation, Ms. LNTH (residing in Thu Duc City) bought a McLaren car with license plate 51F - 821... in mid-April 2023, worth 10 billion VND. Through social relationships, Ms. H knew and asked Phan Cong Khanh to sell the above car and consigned the car at Showroom K Super (No. 6 Tran Hung Dao Street, District 1) but did not deliver the car documents.

On May 23, Khanh needed money to pay off his debt and redeem the Mercedes G63 car that he had previously mortgaged, so he lied to Ms. H and gave her the McLaren car papers so the buyer could see the car.

Through investigation and Khanh’s testimony, it was determined that in fact, no car buyer came to the showroom to see the car. Khanh did so with the purpose of obtaining the original McLaren car registration, license plate number 51F – 821… in order to mortgage the car to borrow money.

Because the news was true, at 11am on May 23, Ms. H went to K Supper showroom to give Khanh the original copies of the vehicle registration and inspection certificates for car 51F - 821...

Khanh then gave the McLaren car and all the documents to Mohamach Da Pha staff to pawn the car to Dang Minh H (born in 1991, residing in Binh Tan district) to get 2 billion VND.

Pha knew that Khanh lied to Ms. H but still followed the instructions. Currently, Khanh is no longer able to redeem the car and return it to Ms. H.

After that, Ms. H continuously texted Khanh asking him to return the vehicle registration and license plate 51F – 821… but Khanh did not reply. When Ms. H arrived at the K Super showroom, she learned that Khanh was in debt to many people and had pawned her car 51F – 821… to someone else.

Therefore, Ms. H filed a complaint against Phan Cong Khanh to the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department.

When arrested, Khanh and his accomplices admitted their actions. The police seized the McLaren car with license plate number: 51F – 821… and its documents.

Ho Chi Minh City Police are expanding the investigation and at the same time, they are informing that anyone who is a victim of Phan Cong Khanh and his accomplices should contact the Major Crimes Team, Criminal Police Department - Ho Chi Minh City Police, contact Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen The Vinh, at phone number 0908138948.
