The Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency stated that they have initially clarified the actions of Phan Cong Khanh (alias Khanh Super, born in 1994, from Ben Tre province , residing in District 7) and his accomplices.

On July 10th, the Investigative Police Agency initiated criminal proceedings and executed an arrest warrant against Phan Cong Khanh for the crime of "Fraudulent appropriation of property." Khanh is reportedly the Director of K Supper Co., Ltd., a company specializing in the sale of luxury cars in Vietnam.

In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Police also issued a decision to temporarily detain Mohamach Da Pha (born in 1996, from An Giang province, an employee at Khanh's K Supper Showroom) for the crime of "Fraudulent appropriation of property".

According to the investigation, Ms. LNTH (residing in Thu Duc City) purchased a McLaren car with license plate 51F – 821… in mid-April 2023, valued at 10 billion VND. Through social connections, Ms. H learned about and asked Phan Cong Khanh to sell the car, and consigned it to the K Super Showroom (No. 6 Tran Hung Dao Street, District 1) but did not hand over the vehicle documents.

On May 23rd, Khanh needed money to pay off debts and redeem his Mercedes G63, which he had previously mortgaged. Therefore, he lied to Ms. H, claiming he was giving her the McLaren car documents so that potential buyers could inspect the vehicle.

Through investigation and Khanh's testimony, it was determined that no potential buyers actually came to the showroom to view the car. Khanh did this in order to obtain the original registration papers for the McLaren with license plate 51F – 821… so that he could pawn the car to borrow money.

Believing it to be true, at 11:00 AM on May 23rd, Ms. H went to the K Supper showroom and handed over the original vehicle registration certificate and vehicle inspection certificate for car 51F – 821… to Khanh.

Afterward, Khanh gave the McLaren car along with all the documents to Mohamach Da Pha's employee, who then mortgaged the car to Dang Minh H (born in 1991, residing in Binh Tan District) for 2 billion VND.

Pha knew that Khanh was lying to Ms. H but still followed her instructions. Now, Khanh is no longer able to redeem the car and return it to Ms. H.

After that, Ms. H repeatedly messaged Khanh demanding the return of the vehicle documents along with the car with license plate 51F – 821… but Khanh did not reply. When Ms. H went to the K Super showroom, she learned that Khanh owed a lot of money to many people and had mortgaged her car with license plate 51F – 821… to someone else.

Therefore, Ms. H filed a complaint against Phan Cong Khanh with the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency.

Upon arrest, Khanh and his accomplices confessed to the crime. The police seized the McLaren car with license plate 51F – 821… along with the vehicle's documents.

The Ho Chi Minh City Police are expanding their investigation and are also announcing that anyone who is a victim of Phan Cong Khanh and his accomplices should contact the Major Crimes Unit, Criminal Police Department - Ho Chi Minh City Police, or Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen The Vinh at 0908138948 to report the crime.
