QNgTV - Faced with new market demands and the trend of international integration, the Party Committee and government of Dak Ha commune have clearly defined the direction of developing the coffee industry towards sustainability, improving quality and added value, and gradually building the "Dak Ha Coffee" brand to reach international levels.

Coffee yields in Dak Ha commune remain high.

Currently, the total area of ​​coffee plantations in Dak Ha commune, Quang Ngai province, is approximately 3,768 hectares. The commune has developed many concentrated coffee production areas, with high-quality coffee growing areas belonging to cooperatives and production groups covering about 1,234 hectares.

In recent years, thanks to a focus on applying scientific and technological advancements, using new varieties, investing in water-saving irrigation systems, and timely pest and disease control, coffee yields in the commune have remained high, averaging 4.5 - 5.5 tons of coffee beans per hectare.

According to the set targets, in the period 2025-2030, Dak Ha commune will stabilize the coffee growing area at 3,700-3,800 hectares; build a high-quality commercial coffee raw material area of ​​over 200 hectares with domestic and international certification; and attract the development of 3-5 finished coffee processing facilities. The locality strives to have 1-2 units directly exporting coffee to the international market, with a production volume of about 150 tons/year and export revenue of about 20 billion VND/year. The orientation by 2035 is to achieve coffee export revenue of over 30 billion VND/year, with the deep processing rate reaching 1.5-2% of the total production.
