On September 4, Brazilian press reported that an anonymous businessman in Porto Alegre, Brazil, decided to write a will leaving part of his $1 billion fortune to Neymar.

“I like Neymar and I sympathize with him. I also suffered from the defamation. The relationship between Neymar and his father reminds me of my deceased father,” the businessman explained his choice of Neymar as his heir.

When asked about this information, Neymar's representative said: "We have not received any notice regarding this issue." The former PSG star himself has not yet confirmed the above information.

This incident has created a debate in Brazilian public opinion. Fans question the motives of the anonymous businessman and the origin of the valuable assets. Other fans also find it difficult to understand that Neymar is one of the richest athletes in Brazil and does not need to inherit anyone's assets.

The news comes at a crucial time in Neymar's career, with the 33-year-old struggling to find his form at Santos as he tries to regain his place in the Brazilian national team ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

In the list of coach Carlo Ancelotti's call-up for the Brazilian national team for the September training session, Neymar was not present.

The embarrassing defeat made Neymar cry. In the early morning of August 18, in the 20th round of the Brazilian National Championship, Santos suffered the biggest defeat in the club's history when they were crushed by Vasco da Gama with a score of 0-6 at Morumbis Stadium.
