The online sports campaign "Millions of Kind Steps - Continuing the Golden History" will be carried out from November 23, 2024 to April 28, 2025 through three phases: Kick-off (72 days); Breakthrough (35 days); Finish (50 days).
Accordingly, to implement the campaign, the provincial Red Cross Associations at all levels strive to mobilize at least 1,000 people to participate in walking/running with online sports platform connection to support the poor; conquer a distance of over 200,000km and mobilize converted resources to reach over 200 million VND to support humanitarian aid activities (equivalent to 1,000 VND/km), contributing to the common goal of the Central Vietnam Red Cross Association to mobilize converted resources to reach 5 billion VND to organize humanitarian aid activities.
At the launching ceremony, the program's Organizing Committee instructed volunteers to install the V-Race application to walk/run online and participate in the campaign. Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates, athletes and participants walked/ran on the phone application software to respond to the campaign.
The activity attracted a large number of cadres, members, volunteers, youth, organizations and individuals in the province to participate in order to actively practice health, promote sportsmanship; at the same time, spread the spirit of solidarity and positive lifestyle, promote the tradition of humanity, sharing and community cohesion.
The event is also a meaningful activity towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and the Humanitarian Tet movement of Spring At Ty 2025, Humanitarian Month 2025.
