In 2024, the Contest will be held for the second time, launched on a national scale to attract the participation of a large number of authors from all over the country.
On the morning of March 20 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Information and Communications coordinated with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and relevant agencies to organize the photo and video contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam 2024."
This is one of the key activities of the series of media events - exhibitions on human rights in Vietnam 2024.
The contest was launched nationwide to attract the participation of a large number of authors from all over the country. Authors, both professional and amateur, Vietnamese and foreign, at home or abroad, can participate.
The aim of the Contest is to discover and honor meaningful moments and stories in all aspects of Vietnam's political , economic, cultural and social life through photos and videos to vividly affirm Vietnam's achievements in the field of human rights.
The contest also aims to mobilize the combined strength of all classes of people in the country, the Vietnamese community abroad and international friends in communication work, promoting the image of the country and Vietnamese people to the world to affirm to the world that Vietnam is a peaceful, beautiful, dynamically developing and happy country.
The entries have a high promotional value on the image of the country, the Vietnamese people, the cultural and natural values across the country; arousing national pride and the desire for development in all classes of people to join hands in building an increasingly prosperous, wealthy and happy Vietnam.
The works must truthfully and vividly reflect the development achievements in all aspects of Vietnam's political, economic, cultural and social life, especially in the process of innovation, development and international integration; Convey valuable knowledge, attract strong public interest and have wide influence at home and abroad.
According to the Organizing Committee, the entries must have been created from January 1, 2022 to the time of receipt and have not been submitted to or won any previous competitions or exhibitions.
About 100 - 150 works that make it to the final round will be selected by the Organizing Committee to display at exhibitions to serve foreign information work at home and abroad.
