The provincial library is launching the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest. This is one of the initiatives to continue implementing the Prime Minister 's Project "Developing a Reading Culture in the Community until 2020, with a vision to 2030, giai đoạn 2021 - 2025".
The competition is open to students of all levels and university students in the province. Entries consist of two pre-determined questions, divided into two groups: one for primary and secondary school students, and another for high school and university students. Contestants are required to answer both questions completely, with wholesome and appropriate content that aligns with Vietnamese customs and culture; ensuring accuracy, information security, and compliance with relevant laws. Books shared in entries must be legally published in Vietnam and include a detailed and complete source of publication.
The organizers note: This is an independent entry, written in Vietnamese. The written entry should not exceed 5,000 words. If creating a short film ( video clip), the minimum length is 5 minutes and the maximum is 10 minutes; special effects and techniques may be used, and the image and sound quality must be suitable for uploading to YouTube. Contestants can submit their entries to their current school or directly to the Provincial Library.
The submission period for entries is from April 2024 to June 30, 2024. After the preliminary judging round at the Provincial Library, high-quality entries will be advanced to the final competition organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The closing ceremony and national awards presentation, honoring the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador, is expected to take place at the end of October 2024 in Viet Tri City (Phu Tho province).
