The competition aims to create a healthy playground for cultural exchange, artistic creativity, and to foster imagination and literary talent among young members and children in Ho Chi Minh City.
The competition is also a practical activity in response to Ho Chi Minh City Literature Week and the movement to establish literature clubs in schools.

Through creative writing, students in the city will cultivate a love for the Vietnamese language, promote national cultural identity, hone their literary knowledge, and learn to observe, feel, and express the beauty of life through language. From this, students will develop faith, aspirations, a creative spirit, and a sense of responsibility towards the community.

Comrade Trinh Thi Hien Tran, Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union and President of the Ho Chi Minh City Children's Council, emphasized: The competition is not only a place for students to hone their writing skills and nurture their passion for literature, but also contributes to educating cultural, aesthetic, character, and moral values for children in the city named after President Ho Chi Minh.
With the theme "Flying into the Future," the competition evokes students' aspirations for a beautiful, progressive, and humane world , while also serving as a way for young Pioneers and children to express their love for their homeland and pride in the city.

During the launch program, the children of Nhi Xuan Primary School interacted with Trung Nghia, a reading culture ambassador and member of the project's steering committee for "Reading with Cyclos" (aimed at promoting reading, fostering a spirit of learning, and enhancing knowledge among the community and workers).
Young Pioneers and children also participate in many rich activities and playgrounds that encourage reading and creative writing among young people, such as: the Reading and Following the Pioneer Newspaper space, the "Connecting Literary Pages" writing station, the "Knowledge Puzzle Pieces" word-assembling station, etc.
