On April 20th, authorities in District 1 (Ho Chi Minh City) filed charges for several violations at Nowpay Software Technology Co., Ltd. (Nguyen Van Trang Street, Ben Thanh Ward) and confirmed that two male customers tested positive for drugs.
Authorities in District 1 (Ho Chi Minh City) inspected a bar and found two male customers who tested positive for drugs.
Earlier, on the evening of April 19th and the early morning of April 20th, the District 1 Police, in coordination with the District 1 Inter-agency Inspection Team, inspected Empire Music Club (belonging to Nowpay Software Technology Co., Ltd.) on Nguyen Van Trang Street (Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).
At the time of inspection, the bar was operating. The joint task force documented several violations, including: entering into non-written labor contracts with employees for fixed-term work of one month or more; and organizing entertainment activities outside of the hours of 8 AM to 12 AM each day.
During a quick check of customers using services at the establishment, authorities discovered two male customers who tested positive for drugs (ketamine). These two individuals were subsequently taken to the Ben Thanh Police Station for further investigation and processing according to regulations.
Earlier, late on April 13th, authorities also conducted a surprise inspection of Saigon Restaurant Co., Ltd. (Le Thi Hong Gam Street, Cau Ong Lanh Ward).
During the inspection, authorities discovered that the establishment was operating a karaoke business in room 302.
The inspection team issued an administrative violation report against the company for operating a karaoke service without a license and failing to enter into labor contracts as required by law.
The inspection team requested Saigon Restaurant Co., Ltd. to immediately cease its violations and strictly comply with relevant laws and regulations, preventing the emergence of social vices during its business operations.
