Mr. CHU THẾ THÀNH, Director of Thành Phát Transport Service Cooperative (Trảng Dài Ward):
Prioritize and support the development of the cooperative economy.

The elevation of Dong Nai to city status is necessary and important for the socio-economic development of the locality. After becoming a city, we expect the province's potential to continue to be strongly exploited. In particular, creating a favorable business environment and enhancing the competitiveness of businesses and economic sectors plays a crucial role. With the State's attention and support in removing difficulties and obstacles, the state-owned economy, foreign direct investment (FDI), private sector, and cooperatives will have more impetus to expand production and business.
As collective economic entities, when implementing a two-tiered local government system, and especially the urban government model, cooperatives hope to receive more support and facilitation in their business operations. Administrative procedures should be further simplified and implemented online; along with support in terms of loans, technology training, etc.
Ms. Linda Chiang, staff member of the Factory Management Department, Longwell Co., Ltd. (Dau Giay commune):
We expect the investment and business environment to improve even further.

I am very excited about the news that Dong Nai province is being upgraded to a city, and that Dau Giay commune will become a ward in the near future.
Dong Nai province in general and Dau Giay commune in particular have a great advantage in terms of transportation connectivity. In addition, the Long Thanh Airport project is nearing completion and preparing to become operational, opening up many development opportunities.
With the new infrastructure and development orientation, I believe that the investment environment in Dau Giay, as well as Dong Nai province, will become increasingly favorable and attractive to businesses. At the same time, I also expect that as the province develops into a city, there will be more policies to support businesses, especially in attracting labor, and further improvements and simplification of administrative procedures, creating more favorable conditions for production and business activities in the future.
Ms. HO THI HIEN (in Long Binh ward):
It is expected that the living standards of workers will improve significantly over time.

As a migrant worker who has lived in Dong Nai for many years, I was truly happy and proud to hear that the province is about to become a city. For workers like me, the greatest hope is that becoming a city will attract more businesses and factories to invest, thereby creating more stable jobs and increasing income for workers. I also hope that the infrastructure will be invested in more comprehensively, with smoother roads, easier transportation, and reduced traffic congestion, making daily life more pleasant.
Furthermore, I hope that the cost of living, especially rent, utilities, and utilities, will remain reasonably managed so that workers are not burdened by expenses as the city develops. I also expect that services such as healthcare, education , and entertainment will receive more investment, helping workers' families have better living conditions. I strongly believe and expect that when Dong Nai becomes a city, the lives of workers will become increasingly stable, prosperous, and significantly improved.
Mr. BUI DINH CHIEN (in Bien Hoa ward):
Many opportunities for local socio-economic development.

The elevation of Dong Nai to a centrally-governed city is a significant milestone, opening a new phase of development with many opportunities for local socio-economic growth. As a Party member, I am very excited, proud, and have high expectations for the strong transformation of the locality in the coming time. This new designation not only recognizes the efforts made over the past period but also places higher demands on the quality of management, socio-economic development, and improving the lives of the people. I believe that, with the specific mechanisms and policies from the central government, Dong Nai will have additional resources to break through and move towards becoming a modern, civilized, and livable city.
Ms. Nguyen Thoai Nhi, a worker at Jason Furniture Vietnam Co., Ltd., Dong Xoai III Industrial Park, Binh Phuoc Ward:
This opens up many job and income opportunities for workers.

Upon hearing the news that Dong Nai is about to become a centrally-governed city, I and many other workers were very happy and had high expectations. I think this is not only a step forward for the locality but also opens up many job opportunities, higher incomes, and better living conditions for workers. We hope that when it becomes a city, the infrastructure will be more comprehensively invested in, especially housing for workers, transportation, and services. If living standards improve, workers will feel secure and committed to staying in the area for the long term, contributing to the overall development of the locality.
Furthermore, we hope that the government will pay more attention to the rights of workers, creating a stable, safe, and fair working environment. As direct laborers, we understand that the development of businesses and the locality is always closely linked to the lives of workers. For me, joy comes with responsibility. I will strive to work better, abide by regulations, and contribute to building a civilized living and working environment.
Ms. Lieu A Kieu, Director of Kelly Sangle International Co., Ltd. (Ho Chi Minh City):

The news that Dong Nai province will become a centrally-governed city is very welcome for the business community. We expect that when Dong Nai becomes a city, there will be more specific policies to strongly develop infrastructure serving agriculture.
Specifically, the province will focus on investing more in the road system to facilitate the transportation of export agricultural products by container trucks; and improving the electricity system to serve production activities as well as the preliminary processing and processing of export agricultural products. In particular, we hope the province will implement more policies to encourage the development of agricultural tourism, contributing to the added value of farming areas and promoting Vietnamese agricultural products.
Mr. TRAN ANH MINH, a farmer from Tan Phu commune:
Expectations are high that the face of the countryside will continue to transform.

We farmers are very excited about the news that Tan Phu commune will be upgraded to a ward, coinciding with Dong Nai province becoming a centrally-governed city. During the process of building new rural areas, the locality has undergone impressive changes in appearance thanks to comprehensive investment in infrastructure, especially roads and electricity to support production development.
When Tan Phu becomes a ward, we, the people, hope for continued strong investment in infrastructure, a faster rate of urbanization, and further transformation of the rural landscape. Consequently, the transportation of agricultural products and people's travel will be more convenient, local agricultural products will have a wider market, people will have higher incomes, and their quality of life will improve.
