The City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City presented the City People's Committee Office with a banner with the content "Proactive - Discipline - Responsibility - Efficiency"

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong; leaders and former leaders of the province and city through the periods; members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, representatives of departments, branches and many generations of officials of the Hue City People's Committee Office.

Reviewing the 80-year journey, Chief of Office of Hue City People's Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang emphasized that, regardless of the stage, the office staff always uphold the spirit of dedication, responsibility, creativity, and make important contributions to the advisory and administrative work of the government. With the function of "synthesis - advisory - service - logistics", the Office has become an information and coordination center between the People's Committee and departments, branches and localities, operating under the motto "working according to plan; solving according to procedures; operating according to regulations".

Over the past 80 years, the Office of the Hue City People's Committee has advised on many major policies and projects, contributing to making Thua Thien Hue a centrally-run city from January 1, 2025 - a historic milestone. The collective has achieved the title of excellent worker for many consecutive years, honored to receive the First, Second, Third Class Labor Medals and many other noble awards; Party organizations and unions have maintained the title of clean and strong.

Entering a new phase, the City People's Committee Office continues to innovate its operating methods, improve the quality of consultation, promote administrative reform, digital transformation, and build a team of professional, disciplined, and creative staff.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong acknowledged the contributions of the Office in advising and serving major events, and emphasized that the collective has quickly adapted to the 2-level local government model. The city is currently among the leading groups in the country in administrative reform, with a 100% rate of handling procedures regardless of geographical boundaries, and a widespread system of receiving documents.

Regarding socio -economic development, the Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee expects this year's growth to reach 10%, creating a foundation for the next phase. He affirmed that the city has the basis to confidently achieve the growth target of over 10% in the short and long term, if it knows how to grasp the trend and is determined to act.

To realize the goal, Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong suggested that the Office continue to promote its 80-year tradition, strengthen coordination with agencies and units, and improve proactiveness, responsibility, and efficiency in advisory work. "I believe that the Office will continue to be worthy of its tradition, accompanying the city on the new journey," Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong emphasized.

On this occasion, the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City presented the Office of the City People's Committee with a banner with the content "Proactive - Discipline - Responsibility - Efficiency"; many individuals were commended and received the Medal for the Cause of the Government Office by the Minister and Head of the Government Office.
