Based on a clear understanding of the unit's position, role, nature, and special political tasks; closely adhering to directives, resolutions, and action programs at all levels regarding the workers' movement and trade union activities; and recognizing the crucial role of cadres and trade union members in directly carrying out tasks at the agency and unit, the Party Committee of Regiment 969 and the Command of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command have implemented numerous policies and measures to lead and direct trade union work. As a result, the workers' movement and trade union activities of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command over the past five years have achieved many important results, making new, solid, and comprehensive progress.

The grassroots trade unions have thoroughly grasped the task of "long-term preservation and absolute protection of the remains of President Ho Chi Minh and promoting the political and cultural significance of the Mausoleum in the new era," upholding the tradition of "complete loyalty and devotion, solidarity and cooperation, self-reliance and self-strength, proactive creativity," and have made many innovations in their organization and implementation. Political and ideological education and training for cadres and union members are consistently emphasized and innovated in both content and form, becoming more diverse, flexible, creative, concise, easy to understand, and easy to remember, in accordance with the tasks of each agency, unit, and trade union organization. This contributes to fostering ideals, arousing patriotism, and instilling a sense of honor and pride in the cadres and union members serving at the Mausoleum, building willpower and strengthening determination to excellently fulfill this special political task.

During the period 2018-2023, the emulation movements of the trade union organization of the Command for the Protection of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum were closely linked with the "Determined to Win" emulation movement, patriotic emulation, and other campaigns of the Army; these movements were vibrant and created strong motivation for each collective and individual to strive to fulfill their assigned responsibilities and political tasks. Notable examples include: the "Promoting Initiatives and Technical Improvements" movement with models such as "Trade Union Machine Booth," "Model Shift," and "Excellent and Creative Labor"; and the "5 Best, 3 No's" movement, "Green, Clean, and Beautiful," and "Occupational Safety, Traffic Safety, and No Disciplinary Violations" among cadres and trade union members of technical support units.

"Thoughtful, dedicated, civilized, and courteous"; "Kind and respectful in welcoming; inspiring and engaging in guidance and propaganda" of cadres and union members involved in welcoming and propaganda work. "Excellent in troop feeding and good management of military supplies," "Good financial management" of cadres and union members responsible for service and support work. "Bright, green, clean, and beautiful, a healthy and friendly environment" of cadres and union members directly involved in caring for flower gardens, ornamental plants, and lawns... From the practical experience of the emulation movements, over the past five years, many collectives and individuals have been awarded emulation flags, certificates of merit, and commendations by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the General Political Department, the Mausoleum Management Board, and the Command of the Guard of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.

In the coming years, the tasks of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command will continue to develop, placing higher demands on the workers' movement and trade union activities. With this spirit, the 6th Congress of the Trade Union of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, for the period 2023-2028, has set the action slogan: “Innovation, democracy, solidarity, and development to build a strong trade union of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, contributing to the excellent fulfillment of the task of long-term preservation and absolute protection of President Ho Chi Minh's remains and promoting the political and cultural significance of the Mausoleum in the new era.”

To effectively achieve this, the Party Committee of Regiment 969, commanding the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, requires Party committees, commanders, and political organs of agencies and units to maximize their roles and responsibilities in leadership, guidance, and direction; to pay attention to and create conditions for the workers' movement and trade union activities of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command to develop comprehensively, in the right direction, and achieve practical results; to build strong grassroots trade unions, contributing to building a clean, strong, and exemplary Party committee; and strong, comprehensive, "exemplary, and outstanding" agencies and units.

Each official and Party member is required to clearly define their determination and demonstrate a proactive spirit in learning and research to improve their skills in all aspects, especially in ensuring medical and technical standards with strict adherence to criteria of caution, meticulousness, accuracy, and safety; solemnity, strength, and unity for officials and Party members performing ceremonial duties; and thoughtful, civilized, and courteous reception and service for officials and Party members performing reception and propaganda duties...

For grassroots trade unions, it is necessary to proactively carry out political education with rich and diverse content and forms, so that each cadre and union member deeply understands the great honor and heavy responsibility towards the unit's political tasks, is absolutely loyal to the task of long-term preservation and absolute protection of President Ho Chi Minh's remains, and promotes the political and cultural significance of the Mausoleum in the new era.
