The Youth Union of the Provincial General Hospital applies information technology and deploys electronic medical records to help people reduce administrative procedures when going to the hospital for examination and treatment.
Aiming to improve the medical examination and treatment process in a fast, concise and accurate manner, the application of information technology in administrative reform has been studied and applied by the Youth Union of the Provincial General Hospital. Accordingly, the electronic numbering system and electronic medical examination book have been deployed to help patients reduce cumbersome procedures; avoiding the situation of jostling and pushing as before. Through the electronic medical examination book, patients can track their own order at all examination rooms.
Talking to us, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Provincial General Hospital Nguyen Van Hoa emphasized: Determining the application of information technology in the work of protecting, caring for and improving people's health is of great significance, thereby laying the foundation for building a smart healthcare system associated with the key tasks of disease prevention, smart healthcare; smart medical examination and treatment and smart healthcare management, the hospital's youth have been actively participating in the digital transformation (DTS) process, applying digital technology, thereby contributing a part of their efforts to the cause of building an increasingly strong hospital, towards the goal of "Hospital - the destination of trust and quality".
Digitizing data of the Youth Union organization and members on the software for managing the Youth Union's work is also a key content that has been resolutely implemented by the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee in the past time. Up to now, 100% of the Youth Union members in the province have updated their information on the Youth Union member management software. This is an important step forward in the application of digital transformation of the Youth Union, helping to digitize all Youth Union member data in the province in general and the whole country in particular. Thereby, helping the Youth Union chapters at all levels to fully and correctly implement the procedures for the work of Youth Union members, improving the effectiveness and efficiency in the management of the Youth Union organization.
Identifying that young people must be the pioneers in implementing the policy of promoting national digital transformation; developing the digital economy on the basis of science and technology, innovation; must be the first and most active in deep integration with the world, in recent times, the provincial Youth Union chapters have coordinated and organized many meaningful and practical activities to promote the benefits of digital transformation and digital capacity. At the same time, promote synchronous digital transformation in all aspects of the Youth Union's work and combine propaganda through the activities of the Youth Union, associations, and teams, such as seminars, training, career orientation counseling, forums, playgrounds, Youth Union branch activities, etc. Propagating, supporting the installation and use of technology applications to serve the use of services such as: installing VNeID identification codes, Vietnam Youth App, electronic health books, electronic payment accounts, etc. Applying digital technology to promote historical relics and cultural works in the locality. Make the most of the advantages of modern tools, media, and social networks in educating young people and children. At the same time, increase the attention of Party committees, authorities at all levels and the whole society, promote the self-needs of young people in improving digital capacity; build many media publications such as infographics, clips, reports... on social networks and websites managed by the Youth Union.
In the coming time, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee will continue to direct all levels of the Youth Union to continue promoting the role of young people in digital transformation, applying digital technology in life and improving digital capacity for young people and children. In particular, the focus is on effectively implementing the goals set out in digital transformation work as set out in the Resolution of the 19th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Thanh Hoa province for the 2022-2027 term, which are: 60% of young people and children have access to digital capacity building activities implemented by youth unions, associations and teams at all levels; 50% of young people use online public services, 70% of young people of working age use electronic payment accounts... Thereby, contributing to creating efficiency in digital transformation work in the province.
