Issued alarm number 1 on Luc Nam river

The Civil Defense Command of Bac Ninh province has just issued Official Dispatch No. 01/CD-BCHPTDS issuing alarm order No. 1 on Luc Nam River at Cam Dan Hydrological Station.

Due to the impact of storm No. 10, at 12:00 on September 29, 2025, the water level on Luc Nam River at Cam Dan Hydrological Station was above alert level I (equivalent to water level ≥41.00 m).

The Bac Ninh Provincial Civil Defense Command requested the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue of relevant communes to immediately organize and deploy on-duty, patrolling and guarding along both sides of the river, detecting and proactively handling landslides that affect residential areas and riverside works. At the same time, notify people and owners of water transport vehicles on the river to proactively prevent and ensure safety for people and property.

Relevant units organize a serious 24/7 standby, regularly update information, and promptly report to the Provincial Civil Defense Command (the Standing Office of the Provincial Military Command) and the Department of Agriculture and Environment (through the Irrigation Sub-Department) for advice, direction, and management.

In response to the developments of storm No. 10, on the morning of September 29, the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee requested the Provincial People's Committee to proactively and highly focus on leading, directing, urging, and inspecting the response to the storm according to the "4 on-site" motto; not to be negligent or subjective, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property and state property. Party committees of communes and wards focused on implementing good response, prevention, and control of storms and floods, especially in localities and areas with high risk of flash floods and landslides.
