Criticism of the principal of Dong Da Secondary School.

On October 30th, according to information from the Department of Education and Training of Binh Thanh District, the unit will seriously criticize the Board of Directors of Dong Da Secondary School and instruct all schools in the district to pay special attention to student management.

For students who film or watch the video, disciplinary action will depend on the severity of the violation; this may include reprimand, or notifying parents to work together to help the students overcome their shortcomings.

During the flag-raising ceremony, the school principal mentioned the incident to serve as a deterrent, a reminder, and an educational example for all students to prevent similar incidents from happening again.

Earlier, on the evening of October 29th, a 15-second clip showing a male student repeatedly hitting a classmate in a classroom was posted on social media.

The male student who assaulted his classmate was wearing a Dong Da Secondary School gym uniform and a red scarf around his neck. According to the video, the student was simultaneously hitting, cursing, strangling, and hitting the other student on the head.

Mr. Lam Huy Hoang, Principal of Dong Da Secondary School (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City), said that the incident occurred in class 9A5, after the fourth lesson ended on the morning of October 25th.

" The male student assaulted his classmate due to a conflict arising from finding money ," Mr. Hoang said.

At the time of the incident, there were no supervisors or teachers present, so they were unable to intervene. Upon discovering the incident, the school requested the two male students to write a report and invited their parents to the school for a meeting.

" On October 29th, the school invited two parents to the school for a meeting. The students who assaulted the victim apologized, agreed to compensation, and this was accepted by the victim," Mr. Hoang added.

Regarding the incident, Mr. Ho Tan Minh, Chief of the Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the Department had also received a report from the Department of Education and Training of Binh Thanh District.
