On October 4, the Hanoi People's Council approved the policy of changing the purpose of forest use to another purpose to implement the project: Expanding and renovating the construction of the People's Police College I in Thuy Xuan Tien commune (Chuong My district) and the Conservation Area in Area IV of Soc Son Cultural - Tourism Area in Phu Linh commune (Soc Son district).
Specifically, the expansion and renovation of the People's Police College I in Thuy Xuan Tien commune (Chuong My district) has a total area of 7.27 hectares of forest land intended for conversion to other purposes.
The location for changing the purpose of forest use to another purpose is Thuy Xuan Tien commune; the location is in section 1 of sub-area 10045 in the administrative boundary of Thuy Xuan Tien commune. The forest function is a protective forest, a type of planted forest with pure acacia and eucalyptus and mixed acacia and eucalyptus.
The Conservation Area Project in Area IV of Soc Son Cultural - Tourism Area in Phu Linh Commune (Soc Son District) has a total area of 5.82 hectares for the purpose of converting forest use to other purposes. The location is in Phu Linh Commune (Soc Son District), located in Section 1 of Sub-section 400 on the administrative boundary of Phu Linh Commune. The function of the protection forest is to plant pine and acacia trees.
The City People's Council assigns the City People's Committee to be responsible for the accuracy of records, documents, data and contents related to the policy of converting forest use purposes to other purposes, the consistency between records and the field, and compliance with legal regulations; to be fully responsible before the law, to only convert forest use purposes to other purposes when ensuring that all relevant legal regulations have been fully implemented; to ensure publicity, transparency, timely resolution of difficulties and problems, and at the same time to handle violations (if any) according to regulations, not to let complicated complaints occur that cause social disorder.
