Opening of Vietnam Private Economic Forum 2025

Attending the event were Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association Dang Hong Anh; Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Quyet; Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dai Thy; Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Huynh Van Son and 300 delegates including experts, scientists , departments, branches, business community, private enterprises of Tay Ninh and the Southern region.

Tay Ninh Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Quyet presented flowers to congratulate the event.

In his opening speech, Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association Dang Hong Anh emphasized: “The local dialogue round of the Vietnam Private Economic Forum 2025 in Tay Ninh is a particularly important mission. Therefore, localities need to frankly point out the “bottlenecks” and propose breakthrough solutions in the direction of the State creating and businesses taking action, which is the formula for prosperity.”

At the Dialogue, opinions were unanimous that the private economy is increasingly asserting its important role as a driving force of the economy, not only contributing to GDP growth, employment and budget but also pioneering in innovation, international integration and sustainable development. Tay Ninh and the entire Southern region are recognized as having great potential in border gate economy, processing industry, high-tech agriculture, logistics, renewable energy and tourism. However, along with opportunities are existing challenges in terms of competitiveness, access to capital, technology, human resource quality and logistics costs.

The dialogue session focused on discussing solutions to unlock resources, remove bottlenecks and create a transparent, stable and predictable business environment. Opinions emphasized the need for strong administrative reform, cutting informal costs, expanding capital channels for small and medium-sized enterprises, promoting digital transformation, innovation, green development, as well as strengthening regional connectivity and public-private partnership to enhance competitiveness.

With the viewpoint: "Tay Ninh government and enterprises are like two companions, developing together", Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Van Son affirmed: the province is committed to always accompanying and creating the most favorable conditions for investors to develop long-term and effectively; the province will maintain a regular dialogue mechanism, listen frankly and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles; act transparently, consistently and stably in the long term, creating a foundation for enterprises to confidently invest, expand production and develop sustainably; at the same time, commit to linking private economic development with strengthening the connectivity of the Southern region, forming an open development space, closely linked with regional and international value chains.
