Dissemination of policies for victims of Agent Orange/dioxin

On August 22, the Son La Provincial Sponsoring Association held a conference to propagate and disseminate the Party's policies and the State's laws related to victims of Agent Orange/dioxin.

Attending the conference were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Provincial Farmers' Association, the Provincial Red Cross Society and 50 representatives of more than 1,000 victims of Agent Orange/dioxin.

At the conference, delegates were informed of Ordinance No. 02/2020/UBTVQH14 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on preferential treatment for people with revolutionary contributions; Decree No. 131/2021/ND-CP dated December 30, 2021 of the Government detailing and implementing measures for the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for People with Revolutionary Contributions; Decree 55/2023/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 75/2021/ND-CP dated July 24, 2021 of the Government regulating the levels of benefits, allowances and preferential treatment for people with revolutionary contributions... In which, it clearly states the conditions and recognition criteria; guides the preparation of records and procedures for those who are entitled to benefits and policies for resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals and preferential treatment for relatives of resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals. Monthly allowances and subsidies for resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals and their relatives...

Agent Orange/dioxin victims attend the conference.

On this occasion, the Provincial Sponsoring Association presented 50 gifts from the Provincial Red Cross and the Provincial Business Association to support people with meritorious services and victims of Agent Orange/dioxin. The total value of the gifts is 20 million VND.

Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the Provincial Sponsorship Association presented gifts to victims of Agent Orange/dioxin.
