On August 22, the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Son La province held a dialogue conference with investment enterprises at Mai Son Industrial Park.

Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association; leaders of Viettel Son La Branch; Provincial Post Office ; and enterprises investing in Mai Son Industrial Park.

Mai Son Industrial Park has a total area of ​​150 hectares. The Management Board has implemented many solutions to attract investment. Up to now, the industrial park has granted investment policies and certificates to 9 projects, using 30.44 hectares of land, with a total registered capital of VND 1,453.7 billion, and the occupancy rate of phase I is about 66%. Currently, many investors have registered and proposed to implement the project.

Investors have completed the projects on schedule, put them into stable operation, and fulfilled all budget obligations. The projects have contributed to increasing the value of agricultural and forestry products, creating indirect jobs in construction, transportation, trade, and services, promoting socio -economic development, and increasing export turnover. Enterprises have basically complied with the laws on construction, environment, labor, fire prevention and fighting, security and order, and occupational safety and hygiene.

At the conference, businesses proposed that the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board advise the Provincial People's Committee to invest in upgrading National Highway 6 to the Industrial Park, speed up site clearance and complete technical infrastructure of Mai Son Industrial Park to meet production and business needs.

The Provincial Industrial Park Management Board has received and responded to the recommendations of enterprises under its authority, and at the same time synthesized the opinions to report to the Provincial People's Committee and central ministries and branches for consideration and resolution.

The Head of the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board delivered a concluding speech at the dialogue conference.

The Management Board continues to support investors in site clearance and completion of construction procedures; promote administrative reform, shorten the time for processing documents, and make procedures transparent; develop industrial park infrastructure, especially electricity, water, wastewater treatment, transportation and logistics; coordinate with training institutions to provide high-quality human resources; and at the same time, effectively implement legal policies and prioritize job creation for local workers.
