ĐNO - On the afternoon of August 28, within the framework of the series of events of Da Nang Finance and Tech Week 2025, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the City's National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Van Quang chaired a meeting with Mr. Bruno Wu - Chairman of Sun Seven Stars Investment Group (USA) to visit and work with the city's leaders.

Also attending the reception were Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet and leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors.

At the meeting, Mr. Bruno Wu gave an overview of Sun Seven Stars Investment Group - one of the multi-sector investment groups headquartered in the United States, operating prominently in the fields of technology, finance, media and education .

Mr. Bruno Wu highly appreciated the development potential and favorable investment environment of Da Nang city, especially in the context that the city is implementing the construction of a Free Trade Zone and an International Financial Center.

The Chairman of Sun Seven Stars Investment Group expressed his desire for long-term cooperation with Da Nang, especially in the fields of software technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and digital finance.

This investor affirmed its willingness to invest in the International Financial Center in Da Nang, with the expectation of contributing to promoting the economic growth of the city in particular and Vietnam in general. At the same time, it committed to supporting the city in implementing other strategic projects.

Speaking at the reception, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang welcomed the visit and work of Mr. Bruno Wu and his colleagues, considering this a positive signal for the cooperative relationship between Da Nang and international investors.

Agreeing with the group's proposals, the City Party Secretary affirmed that the city is ready to create favorable conditions for Sun Seven Stars Investment to research and promote investment, especially in the fields of digital financial centers, electronic technology, AI and new economic models.

After the meeting, the two sides agreed to continue to maintain exchanges and discussions through various forms to build concrete projects to realize cooperation ideas.

Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang assigned the City People's Committee Office to proactively provide information related to the National Assembly's resolution on the establishment of the Vietnam International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang; specific mechanisms and policies, as well as information on strategic partners when investing in this field.

City leaders also expect Sun Seven Stars Investment Group to soon implement specific projects in Da Nang, including the construction of an international standard hospital following the Swiss model and a research center on green energy and new materials.

At the same time, support the city in training high-quality human resources in the field of AI and participate in orienting the planning of new development spaces for the city.

The visit and working session of the Chairman of Sun Seven Stars Investment Group is expected to open up many strategic cooperation opportunities, contributing to the strong development of Da Nang on the international financial - technological map in the coming time.
