Microsoft has officially “killed” the Windows 10 operating system and is trying to find ways to attract users to switch to Windows 11. One of the focuses of this strategy is to deeply integrate artificial intelligence (AI) features into the new operating system.

Microsoft said that in the coming time, the company will add a series of artificial intelligence (AI) features to Windows 11 updates, aiming to turn this operating system into a real "AI computer".

With the new update, users just need to say “Hey, Copilot” to activate the AI ​​virtual assistant on Windows 11, then ask Copilot to perform tasks such as opening applications, summarizing website content, processing files or supporting office work.

Microsoft says Copilot can “read” what’s on screen (with the user’s permission) to provide relevant information. For example, when watching a video , a user can ask Copilot about the car model, phone model, or character appearing in it; the AI ​​will automatically analyze the frame and provide an answer.

In addition, Copilot also supports smart file management operations such as merging photos, deleting duplicate photos or summarizing content with just a voice command. All processing is done in a secure environment, ensuring privacy, and users can intervene when the results are not as expected.

According to Microsoft, Copilot on Windows 11 supports up to 40 different languages, helping users easily interact by voice or text input when speaking is inconvenient, such as at the office or in public places.

With this step forward, Microsoft expects Windows 11 to become a true “AI computer”, bringing a more personalized and intuitive experience to global users.
